For some reason the design reminded me of either an undertail or a bagel game about a cat. Many different traps and buffs greatly dilute the gameplay. The level design is also pretty good.
I really like the intro before the game, the frame with the rainbow and hearts for some reason reminded me of Isaac. In general, the cutscenes really break up the game, which is cool and I like it.
Good idea about collecting things, I don't know why I don't think about it... regarding the movement, initially it was like that, but I thought it would be better if I removed the movement, but it looked in vain
probably my favorite at this jam. An interesting idea to make a big world that feels like you are controlling a car using a remote control, cool implementation of movement!
I like this retro style combined with racing, it feels like I'm playing in some kind of slot machine. Special respect for the starting character choice, super cool!
Quite simple, but no less interesting, I like it! I'm surprised at how big the map you're driving on is (unless it's a circle and I just didn't understand it :) )
I really liked the idea, it's really cool! the only thing that would be cool is to somehow explain it as you go through it, because I didn’t fully understand why my starting piece disappeared.
a labyrinth with monsters is quite an interesting idea that I would like to see not only as part of the jam, but also fully developed and with different riddles.
This is what I played before the jam! I won’t lie, I got inspired and decided to do something similar. I also know about the jump, unfortunately I could not fix this problem :(
While I was doing it, it didn't seem that difficult, but I forgot one thing. While I was doing this, I got used to the controls, so it was easier for me. Poor management is partly to blame. my fault, but I tried to make it as comfortable as possible
yea, I agree with you about the game jam, but on the other hand, the good side of it is that in a couple of days you try to make a full-fledged game and each time you get better and better.
I like absolutely everything here, the only thing I would improve is the UI and add animations, but even without this the game is quite interesting and was able to draw me in for more than 5 minutes while rating the games.
The game has a cool idea, but unfortunately the game itself is a little buggy and lacks UI elements along with the soundtrack, but for the first game jam and, in principle, the first game, this is a good result!
Despite the simple concept, it's really fun to play! good ability of enemies which gradually increases. Potions that dilute the game are also very useful!
