The art and music were awesome. I wish there was more to the game. You map set-up was pretty sweet as well.

It may not be much, but I'm glad you got an entry in. As others have said, the art is wonderful.

The art style is very cute! I like the music and SFX as well.

What a nice peaceful stroll through the forest! Your version of Harold, complete with the facial expressions, is just totally adorable. Wanted more gameplay of course, but glad you got something cool in!

Both the artstyle and SFX were on point. I'd love to see a full game made with this!

RPG Maker character getting banished to an 8-bit world? Sounds a tiny bit familiar.

In all seriousness, this is beautiful. Your art style is adorable. It's such a nice blend of retro graphics and clean lines and curves. The sound design is also really nice, especially the little beeps that vary in pitch when Harold talks. Really reminds me of Celeste. It really sucks that you could only get as far as you did; I would love to see this fleshed out into a full game even if dev time for the game is over. This is one of my favorite submissions so far and it's unfinished; imagine what the full game could be like!

Very cute art with SFX and music to compliment it. This made me want to see more, great job.

For what it is right now, it was enjoyable to walk in. Sprites are well made, music is good, the sound playing during the dialogues/text boxes is nice to hear.

Keep up the good work!

Excellent tile and sprite work!

As it stands there's not really much of a game here, but you nailed the look.

I'll look forward to playing a proper adventure in this world once you release the main project.

I really digging the aesthetic of the game, especially the talking character sprite animations!

(Honestly, that caught me off guard).

The art looks adorable - I can't rate as I didn't submit anything technically. Great stuff!
