Looks good, but I didn't really see the historical value in it.

A few tips by the way:

If you export the game in Godot when selecting the folder where the export is going to be you can hide the debug console window. That's just something that looks better.

Also when a rabbit follows the player add a condition that when it's close to a certain value they stop, because now they are just jittering on the player sprite.

It's a good beginning to a game, keep on working :)

Thanks for the tips, mate! :

Good work on the map - maybe needs to look more 1840s-ish though.

I couldn't run it from the itch app either but downloading directly works fine.

Needs some quests and more direction for the player.

I loved the way it looks - but I couldn't figure out what to do - but it's a great start.

The graphics were gorgeous, but the audio and flashing effects got annoying. Also, I couldn't figure out what to do. :( Would like to see you update this in the future! Well done. :)

It's really pretty, I love that Pokémon style ! The music is really great. But I didn't figuring out what to do. Why rabbits follow me? And why "guards" doesn't care about me ? Also the house is kind of flashing, maybe a bug ?

Happy you like the music!! I had quite the fun trying this lowres style of sounds! :D

I liked the art and music, but I had trouble figuring out what to do after the first house though

Can't be installed via icht App. The Installation dropdown stays empty.

I saw you post this comment in some of games, I had the same, I think it's your antivirus the problem (it was that for me)

Jam HostSubmitted

Yeah, but for many other games (also in this current Jam) installation via itch App works just fine - I can choose an installation file and things are running just fine. Can't be my anti-virus - the installation hasn't even started at that point - the Installation file dropdown stays empty, as I commented before.

That's strange, it's sad you can't play these games :(

Yeah - that's true.

The itch install failed for me also but direct download worked. I've had the opposite happen too for other entries - direct download fails, but itch download works.

I though maybe it was because .rar was assigned to be opened by a Corel app but I reassigned it to 7zip and it still wouldn't work.

I think I had these issues in HAGJ4 too so I think its an issue with the itch app.

I love that Pokemon-like art.

Thanks Mai! It was a pleasure learning to replicate that style. Brought back memories of playing Fire Red on long road trips.
