I like this prototype but it doesn't really feel like a stealth game at all considering enemies can look at you and not do anything besides move, the music was nice but the key pick up noise was too loud for it's own good, the squash and stretch the player does is nice but I would have appreciated some actual animation for the sprites, and a proper background, the controls are good as well, the player feels smooth to handle and the levels are nice but only having 3 one screen wide levels isn't the greatest, I feel like you could have doubled that level count somewhat easily due to only having 2 mechanics.
Hey! I enjoyed that little game!
Thanks
Nice game ! Really good art
Thanks I got the art from https://kenney.nl/
Good job!
Thanks!
Thanks for coming by our game. Nothing like a jam to test out a couple ideas, eh?
I see that you're a young game dev, and it's always great to go into stuff young. There are some things that I would've added/changed to the main mechanic:
1. Indicate what dot makes which door open.
2. Add some audio. Make it ALIVE. Trust me, even just prototyping it with audio is a thousand times better.
3. Add some animation to it. Makes it less static.
4. And lastly, always try to iterate on the game concept. Try to think outside the box.
Besides that, great work creating a game in under 3 days!
It’s a rather good idea but I feel like you could add more to it. Here’s my list:
But all in all I still think this is a rather good game, Good Job!
Thanks for the suggestions I fixed and updated some of the things you said and it made game better!
you’re welcome!
Hey congrats! It's a very cool idea and a nice a prototype that can be turned into a great game! My only feedback is that I'd enjoy a more precise movement a little bit better but of course it depends on where are you planning to take this idea to and what kind of aesthetics you are aiming for for the player. Keep it up!
Cool Idea & Game!
Thanks
It was submitted on time and it works. That's actually more of an achievement than it sounds like. Time management is a difficult beast, for sure. I would recommend in future player controllers that you don't do inertia/acceleration based because it's what people refer to as "floaty" rather than responsive. When I release the key, the player should stop moving. It's an opinion, totally subjective, but one that I think a majority of players agree upon. :)
Good concept! A rogue tipe game with stealth mecanics? Count me in!
fun game . Adding some particle can make them game better
This has potential, but I'm a bit confused by the timer. Why is it there lol
It's there as a way to stick to the theme *ish*
You need to do something with volume. It just scares me. Anyway this game has potential, but now it's kinda raw
Thanks for your feed back this was going to be more polished but I have really bad time management and because of that I couldnt add most of what I hoped
This game has a lot of potential. I think you should add more enemies with different behaviors. Would make it a bit more challenging. Overall, nice one.
Thanks for the feedback this is just a prototype for a game idea i had. I do wish to add more enemies and features in the future.
