Its short and sweet. The game is fun but feels a little too easy. The SFXs are also super grating in my opinion. Overall its a nice, simple submission but there is clear room for improvement
Thanks for Feedback!
The controls feel slow. The art is very basic. The theme implementation doesn t make sense since it doesn t change the game in any way rather than how long it is.
The shooting was a bit finnicky, since you had to control it with buttons. But vesides that, it's a nice game!
Well Done! The only issues you have here is music and art. I hope to see this further developed!
I managed to win! I appreciate this game and would like to see the idea expanded on - maybe more types of enemies? Anyways, I had fun and it was pretty challenging - well done!
Thanks for playing!
Surprisingly tough! Cool twist on the mechanics by having the fire button also be your quick dodge, but the ship was a little sluggish otherwise, especially the turning. Slight nitpick, you actually have 3 lives, but I'm thankful for that and might not have won otherwise. Art and presentation were pretty basic but it works. All in all, I like it. Good job.
Thanks for the feedback and for playing!
Nice game!
I am glad you enjoyed it!
This was okay, the turning speed for the player was too slow for my liking, wave 3 was the only difficult wave (But that's okay) and the enemies seem to act weird, jittering once they entered a certain radius towards me (I assume that was intentional to avoid enemies dogpiling on top the player) but regardless this game is fine as a short time killer
Thanks a lot for playing!
Good take on the old Asteroids Formula!
Thanks for the Feedback and Playing!
I won! Cool game :D
Thanks a lot for playing!
Its a fun idea, I feel the game was very short and the AI was quite easy to beat. I also felt the player was a bit slow when turning. For next time, instead of turning the player with Q and E, maybe the player looks towards the mouse. Either way, Good Job!
First of all Thanks for playing, The game was short because unfortunately, I was not available for most of the weekend so this was kind of the last moment. The player being slow is an issue with the HTML build because they run in much lower frames than Windows executables I tested the game thoroughly in Windows builds and the player speed and rotation speed were fine, I do encourage you to check Windows builds, you can download it, I have provided detailed instructions on how to download or Run them. You can give feedback on the Windows build if you desire. The rotations concept was something new for me and I initially tried to do it using MouseX input but using Q and E keys was simpler to implement so I went with that, I will definitely consider changing it to mouse look.
Again Thanks a lot,
Kushagra.
Fun base, lot of promise! Rotating with E and Q feels clunky, I feel like facing the mouse position would be nicer. Apart from that, I'd recommend playing with materials/shaders a little - you can add a lot of extra oomph to the game without changing any mechanics simply by making objects pop out a little more. This also applies to the UI!
Thanks a lot for taking the time and playing, I will definitely think about changing the rotation to mouse look and also will look into shaders for UI elements.
Again Thanks a lot.
