Very neat game! I love the idea of each sprite being a 3D net, very awesome!
This is a neat idea! Took a second to work out what to do, but I think once I noticed the HUD it made sense immediately. It’s an interesting idea - having the distraction of the more action-focused platforming making the memory aspect of the game more challenging.
Thank you for playing the game!
Game is awesome but ı thınk needs some musıc cause ıt feels like a little empty and ı dont really understand what ı have to do fırst but then ı lıke ıt.
Thank you for playing the game!
At the end of the jam, I wanted to understand how to make parallax background in Godot... I understood but I didn't have time to implement it, nor did I have time to put music. :)
I will release an update tomorrow, to "finish" the game before starting an other project.
I really enjoyed this!! As others have mentioned, it was a little confusing to begin with (how and why triangles are collected in certain ways), so maybe a tutorial with an example could be really helpful. Other than that, though, I thought everything worked really well together! I loved the giant world/bug/insect theme you had going on (especially after I've just finished playing Hollow Knight, haha!), and the platforming felt nice and snappy like it should. I'm guessing you had some ideas for more levels and level mechanics which would have been super cool to see, but time restrictions are gonna restrict :/ Overall, I really like this project and I think you did a great job :)
Dear Jam host, thank you for playing the game!
I'm preparing an update to release after the jam. Based on comments, I have already done a tutorial level and add a music track. I might add some more levels but... I have IRL duties. ;)
I have never finished Hollow Knight. XD
See you.
That's awesome to hear!! I'll be sure to check out the update, hope your IRL things are going well ^^
I bought Hollow Knight 5ish years ago?! Only restarted and completed it recently, I highly recommend it :)
I think the idea is really good, this just needs more varied levels to explore (and a little music)! I also like how you used geometric shapes in your artstyle, it feels very different! Hope you take this concept to a more complex level! ;)
I really enjoyed it! The only thing I would add is a sort of method where the player has to sort the triangles to match the pattern itself, but all in all, Well Done!
Thank you very much for playing the game!
In fact, I didn't want players to be able to sort the items. I wanted them to memorize, explore the whole level and think in what order they have to collect the items. With a good tuning on time settings and more diverse levels, it would have allow to make players trying different routes at each run, look for optimal strategy. ... But I really didn't have the time to make all of this. XD
Pretty confusing at first, maybe I'm just dumb but I had no idea what the triangles were for :D once I figured out that I had to collect the pattern the game got much more interesting
Thank you for playing the game!
pretty fun game, i somewhat liked the rigidness of the platforming actually, and a good concept, nice job
Thank you for playing the game!
the gameplay is confusing i didnt understand what to do so i beat the game another way.
speaking of, you can jump over the wall.
Can you? XD
Confusing is the general feedback. I should have added a little tuto. Thanks for playing.
its very precise, but you very much can for all 3 walls, your mistake was making the wall triangles jumpable on
The SFX is definitely one of the most charming parts, it both fits the style and is super funny at the same time. The gameplay seems simple enough being a platformer, however I could not figure out how to fill up the outline with the triangles I collected.
Thank you for playing the game!
If you approach the gate with the the exact same pile of triangles collected, it should open, there is nothing to fill up in the gate. It's a memory game :).
AHH! That makes a lot more sense. Thank you!
Edit: Thank you for telling me that! The gameplay was super fun :D
I mean its a very basic game that fits both themes and is fun to play. That being said, it is quite clear that you ran out of time; as such the art and especially the audio is lacking (the expolsion SFXs made me chuckle, but sadly it doesn't justify a higher rating).
Negatives aside, I would like to see a version with improved graphics and a little bit of music; let me know if you ever release an update :)
Thank you for trying the game!
But, but, improved graphics? I'm already at my very best XD.
Haha I feel you mate!
But seriously I would like to see a more fleshed out version of this! Even a little music would go a long way :)
