Really good vibe, only thing that felt a bit off was that the mix is a bit too heavily compressed.
Good job!
Thanks for the feedback! Yes I hear you about the compression, it's one of the areas I'm still working on getting the "less is more" fine tuning
Nice ambient piece with whimsical and dreamy qualities, taking me into a luminous and open place, yet also promising some dark alleys and mysterious environments hidden inside this new world. I really liked the intro and the usage of violin spiccato all over the track. The transition from the beginning to the full dense soundscape which reigns during the rest of the track is also great. I think you chose the sound palette wisely and everything feels cohesive and very well integrated. Great work!
Nice atmospheric composition you did, quite cinematic with good choice of instruments. Good job!
Nicely done.
The mix is maybe a little synthy in terms of dynamics, but the context and atmosphere is good and it brings a nice sense of atmosphere.
Great work!
Thank you! After reading your comment and having a listen I think I understand what you mean, definitely something to continue working at.
I love how the piano and harp work together—it emphasizes the plucky feel, capturing the essence of discovery. Well done! Listening to this track gives me lost ship ruins vibes.
I really like the orchestration on this track, and I think you did an excellent job producing it with the tools you had available! My one primary nitpick is that the staccato and pizzicato strings were a bit too strong in the mix and somewhat took away from the atmosphere of the background rather than supporting it. I would recommend quieting them a bit and adding a bit of reverb, and as letina suggested, adding some variety to the quantization to create a more natural feeling. With that being said, I think the vibe you captured ultimately resonates very well with the theme and the vision you were trying to achieve, A great job, and I look forward to your future works! :)
Thank you very much for the feedback. I'll definitely be taking these into consideration with the strings !
I liked how you achieved surround sound using simple and accessible plugins. I liked everything about the composition, the only thing is that sometimes the regularity of the strings knocked me off the dreamy mood, but maybe that's just my impression and it doesn't make your music worse, that's for sure!
In my opinion, the music matches the theme very good. I'll share my associations with you - when listening, I had the feeling that I was an adventurer or an archaeologist who finally found what he had been looking for for a long time. The picture is also well chosen.
Thank you for your music!
Thanks so much for the feedback. I absolutely understand what you mean about the strings. It was a choice I struggled deciding with and at some point I had already frozen the track so it became what it is 😅
It's still sounds great, good job ❤️
