- Hey there! This was a nice take on a classic formula. I thought the graphics were really cute and pulled me in early. I thought the lack of music and the way the "bump" sound effect would play on repeat when hovering created a bit of fatigue on my ears. I also really think the gameplay could have been sped up considerably and would have been a lot more engaging, as it was a real slow burn for the most part. Finally, I'll say I really think the tutorial was unnecessary in how verbose it was. Way too much text for what was actually a very intuitive series of mechanics. Overall, it's a solid entry that has heaps of potential with only minor changes required to the formula. Thanks for the game!

This game hit me right in my "Diner Dash" nostalgia. I had a lot of fun playing it until a customer got stuck on a table and couldn't leave. I think placing a customer at the table next to the trash can with fully upgraded table quantity can soft-lock the game. It was also pretty annoying to watch the character occasionally run in a little circle when arriving at a destination, wasting a bit of time.
The art is so charming, and I love the way all the characters bounce in place. I would recommend adding a way to see the customer's mood change so you can tell who is getting ready to leave. It would also be nice if customers formed a line instead of standing in the same spot, overlapping on top of each other.
This was a super cool entry, and I had a lot of fun playing it! By the way, what are those food items served at the restaurant?
Thanks! Glad enjoyed it. Yeah there's a few soft-lock issues I think, can be a little annoying. I'm glad you like the art! A customer mood would have been a great idea actually nice! Glad you enjoyed and thanks for playing.
Also the food items are meant to be body parts haha.
I enjoyed the artsyle and the conceit! I ran into some issues when I had too many tables though.
I doubt that this is intentional, but the whole Devil restaurant thing reminds me of the waiting room of the afterlife in The Adventures of Dr. McNinja.
Glad you liked it! Never heard of it so definitely not intentional haha. Thanks for playing :D
This game was amazing, the art and sound effects are great, and the gameplay is relaxing yet stressful all at the same time. There's just a couple minor things that I would improve about it. I find that it's a little annoying how the player character doesn't pickup the cooked food right away, and instead has to wait there for a second, it's especially bothersome when you're in a rush, as you usually are in this game. Another thing that got me stuck on day 4 is that if you go to the garbage you can't return if you have the "more tables" upgraded to level 3. Your character simply gets stuck walking in circles in the top right corner. In closing I think that this game is definitely one of the best games from this jam, and only requires minor improvement. Very impressive!
Thanks a lot, really glad you liked it! And thanks for the feedback too, I'll defintely update the game after the jam ends! I'm aware of a few bugs which will be fixed. Thanks so much for playing :D
Oh I also noticed that the soundtrack didn't loop, after the first ~2 minutes it just stops completely, not sure if it was intentional but it feels like an error, so I'm just letting you know.
Thanks for telling me. Yeah it was intentionally done, it's only supposed to loop on the title screen. During gameplay I found the music to be quite annoying lol.
Really fun game :) The art and music were great! I played it for maybe 15min
Thanks, glad you enjoyed :D
I quite liked the art and audio :)! And the gameplay kept me engaged
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it :)
Really cute art style!
Thanks :D
Nice game, really pleasing graphics ! but the gameplay felt a bit too slow with a lot of wait time
Thanks, glad you like it! Yeah it can be a little slow at at times... Thanks for playing though! :D
Gameplay got hard fast but was very fun to play, Wish the money earned/needed didn't seem so scripted. It always seemed like I was only able to make 2 mistakes at any given time and I would fail for the day. Didn't happen but seemed like it. Excellent Work!
Thanks, glad you had fun! Yeah, it can feel a little scripted at times. Thanks for playing though :D
The scenery and the general design of the game is really beautiful! We understand very well what to do with the tutorial at the beginning. The small details and animation are really nice and make the game more alive. The only small problem is an audio bug when you hover with the mouse over a table, with the repetition of the selection sound in loop.
Thanks, glad you like the art :) Yeah, I'm aware of that sound issue, it only happens in fullscreen which is odd. Thanks for playing anyway!
Good job! I enjoyed playing
Thanks! Glad you liked it.
The artstyle is simple but neat and even if the gameplay isn't really innovative, it's done very well. The only issue is that the sound when you hover an interactive element repeats over and over, which is a bit annoying.
Thanks a lot, glad you liked it. Yeah I'm aware of that issue, couldn't find a fix in time, it only happens in fullscreen which is odd. I'll look into it and get an update out after the jam. Thanks for playing :D
The game feels and looks nice. The art style is good. The music stops after a minute for some reason. The theme covered pretty directly "one room", but it's ok. There is something you can improve with the pace also.
Good job!
Thanks for playing! Yeah, the music is just intended to play during the title screen, as it can get a little annoying during gameplay lol. Thanks a lot! :D
Nice! I like the setting and how it relates to the theme. I think the pace of the game was a tad bit slow for me, but I imagine that it's probably better to make a game easier than harder anyways for a game jam so that everyone can play.
Thanks! Glad you liked it :D
