I especially liked the music and the relaxing background, but the (intended) repetition of the tasks put me off a bit: as you wrote elsewhere, it might be useful to explore how to render that in writing, some more varied content could be all that’s needed. If it doesn’t support the keyboard yet, consider adding that.

This was a very relaxing experience. As a cat lover myself i enjoyed the slow progress you mad with Diana over the course of your stay on the outpost and how she started to be more and more present.

I was somewhat intrigued by what did happen to the person, that did run away and also the relationship of the protagonist to the other persons. Maybe an extended version could include some more of this background. I would probably play it again.

Exactly what you said it was going to be: a cozy lof-fi space game about a girl and cat! I found the experience very gentle and calming. I saw you mention Stardew Valley in response to another comment below - YES, I would like to see this turned into a full sim!

This was such a cozy game! And the inclusion of a cat was smart, to avoid the task feeling repetitive.
Of course, always +1 for the cat and being able to pet/play with it :P

Very chill and casual experience! I’m a fan of cats, so this was a nice story for me. Dialog was well written and the story felt believable from an emotion stand point. My only gripe is that the daily actions were just a bit repetitive to me. I would’ve preferred one less daily option, as it felt a little too routine at certain points.

In any case, thanks for this chill experience before I go to sleep!

I understand the note about repetition. Our thought was that this was inspired by games like Stardew Valley, etc. where you are doing the same tasks and there's some comfort in that repetition. But maybe it doesn't work as well in text, or maybe we needed to find a way to give more of a dopamine hit on those tasks like you get in those games. Something for us to think about. Thanks for the note!

Super chill and wholesome. I was worried at first that having to repeat the same tasks over and over might feel a bit stale after a while, but introducing the progression of your relationship with Diana mixed in with those repetitive lines made it all feel pretty fresh and smoothly progressing. A part of me wishes I could see what happens at the very end (after the last choice) but I think it's still good if left open-ended.

Yeah, the constant influx of new lines helps a ton! I think it'll depend on who's reading because some people might just be bored with a chill, low-conflict setting whereas others are like "OOH CAT" (me, and many others, it seems). If anyone does actually complain about it feeling too stale or repetitive though, it can easily be remedied by just rewriting things a bit to make the lines feel a little different, but I think you're alright, especially for a jam :D

Very chill, vibes on point, loved the cat descriptions, and also the low-key world building in the background. Would've been nice (of course) to get some closure on the open story threads (missing scientist e.g.), but for a jam game it's all fine! Am I wrong to assume that there's no situation in which you get a 'bad' ending (like the station breaks or something like that)? I had a happy chill fun time with my cat, exercising and doing all my tasks every day. Yay! Good work.

There were a few places where the italics 'ran over' into the next lines, but it didn't break anything so no worries there.

Really nicely written, with a chill pace. The characters (in emails) have distinctive voices giving a sense of who they are. Diana is very cat throughout. Her slow blinking as a sign of trust is such a neat take on the theme, and your relationship with her is central to the story so that theme isn't set to the wayside. I was expecting some system to go awry at some point, or for Diana to get stuck somewhere and need your help, maybe a moment where you feel particularly homesick and Diana comforts you. Just ideas. I like how in the end the two options to choose from both feel natural, because you've built up that relationship with her. Really chill game.

Thanks so much for your feedback! I get your note about expecting a conflict. Just for context: we were inspired by the play loops of Stardew Valley, where completing satisfying little maintenance tasks every day puts you in a relaxed flow state. That's why there's pretty much no conflict past the beginning. It's all about those vibes. :) But I'm glad you liked the emails; I can't resist doing character bits in my work. Looking forward to trying your submission!

to be honest i started out feeling a big gap between the cozy vibes and the lonely space outpost, but over time it really got there, which i think was exactly the point. excellent music helped as well.
