Really liked this game! It's a great take on the combination concept. And it was just the right level of challenging for a jam game. I liked the art, but the scaling did put me off a little along with some other not-quite-pixel-perfect things. The sound and music was great, and I like how the music changed with the area. Awesome!
Very cool! The music was nice and it felt pretty frantic trying to remember how to mix the slimes while being swarmed by them. Nice work!
Wow! Really great game! The hordes of slimes spawning around you were really difficult at first, but I had a ton of fun when I got used to it :). Combining the slimes turned out to be a very cool mechanic. Sometimes there aren't enough greens, but I'd say the randomness makes for an interesting challenge :).
I liked the world design! A lot of nice little details. But it got a little confusing on where to go after collecting the red and green keys for example. I feel like the world could be a bit smaller at that time of the game.
The adaptive soundtrack was a nice touch :). It gets a little annoying when the player moves around the transition point though. Nice nonetheless :).
The boss fight was fun :D. And I also enjoyed the ending ;). Very well done!
That's a very unique and funny combat system. It also has this 8-bit game feel, if you know what I mean.
Thanks, I was going for the 8-bit style, I’m glad it worked.
Great job! I really enjoyed exploring the environment and finding new paths.
very good game
Very great submission, I made a big purple alien stucked between walls made with 25 small ones, it was funny !
Wow! it was probably huge!
Really neat game, I enjoyed playing it. It got more challenging the more I played. One aspect I particularly liked is how you get punished for shooting the wrong slime color at an enemy. It's very rare to see a game mechanic where the player is punished for shooting at stuff, and I absolutely loved that. Is there some kind of guide on how the different slime colors interact with each other?
Thanks a lot, there isn’t a guide for the interactions, as I thought it would be fun to learn that on the way, and in addition I made sure to give a small tutorial, by introducing almost every combination alone (like in the start you meet the red and green slimes, then the red and blue etc…), but if you think it would help the game I might add one, let me know what you think!
Yes I think because it's a fast paced game, I was too focused on trying to survive to analyze how the colors interacted with each other. Maybe I'm just bad with colors!
Thanks for the feedback, I will add a combination list.
Such a nice gameplay, the art its excellent and all the enviroment created was super cool, Excellet Job!
The slime pistol is such a neat idea, it's something different and you can't just mindlessly shoot slimes around.
THE MUSIIIIIIIIIIC
Oh, and the gameplay was really good, too. It was fun to mess around with all of the slimes and to learn how the mechanics interact.
I like the twist at the end!
