I made a video of your game. It's at the 14:02 mark of this video.
Oooooh nice! Thanks!
The amount of work this must have required terrifies me. Congrats its a very cool entry ! and please have some rest !
Thanks! This was probably my most ambitious jam yet. I slept for like 12 hours after that so I think I'm fine :D
I really love this type of Minigame jam entries, its really cute. I´m personally a fan of punishments or being able to reach a high score in games so that was kinda missing for me. :)
Thanks! I prefer making games with a finite amount of content / story as opposed to highscore games. For me it's a better and more memorable experience then something you play a few times, get a good score and sorta just forget about.
Doing a Wario Ware/Rhythm Heaven-like game for a 7 day jam is to have lost one's mind, I love it!!
I really liked how you managed to keep the artstyle constant to all the games. Some minigames really needed that instructions (great to have them at every moment in the pause menu, +1 for that) while others resulted very intuitive.
The microgame I liked the most is the alphabet one, both the list and the premise are pretty original :D
Found a couple bugs in the "candy crush" microgame, but nothing really important, probabbly happened because an unwanted double click.
Sadly, and appreciating the HUGE effort that goes into making that amount of music in a week, I think that's the weakest point of this game. I've ended up with a bit of a headache, and it's simply because of the chiptune without any kind of filter or effect to reduce its intensity. I also haven't found a way to lower the volume below 2, I don't like to play without music or effects, because I think it's breaking a little bit the creator's artistic vision, but I went to test if it was possible and I wasn't able to do it.
Still, I enjoyed spending some time playing your game.
We need more games like yours, good job :)
Thanks for the comment. I totaly agree that the music is one of the weaker parts and if I had more time I would make longer loops and more though into the beats. I am also aware that the match 3 minigame is a bit buggy, as I mentioned, time was a big constraint on a game of this scale.
Also I was in a hurry so the code is just total spagetti, which makes it super annoying to debug :/
don't worry, It's still a phenomenal game! ^^
Thanks haha༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
This is really impressive work with a 7-day window. I love love love a game with more games in it. The multitude of experiences here did a great job keeping me on my toes and entertained. The art (and, with emphasis, the animation)? Wonderful. The attention to detail really shows with this one as well. The beautifully designed pause screen was the cherry on top. I had a little difficulty understanding the goal/mechanics at some points, but also didn't read the instructions on the page and haven't played browser games since before middle school tbh, so it may be lack of intuitive player rather than intuitive game lolol. Really great submission, I had fun playing your game, I hope you had fun making it :)
Thanks! It was a ton of fun making it, but the last few days were really exhausting tbh.
This is one of the most bizarre experiences. The amount of effort it took to make this is mind-boggling, I'm thoroughly impressed with how much you've whipped up! I also found the songs to be kind of bangin', the sense of rhythm is there, and there's a great bit of eerieness in the note choices. However some of them don't really loop properly, I don't know if that's just an intentional choice to add to the chaos. And also, the games felt very pointless to play, albeit incredibly thorough and detailed with code and artwork. It's all pretty opinion-based, so it doesn't really say much about the quality of your work! It just didn't feel like much of a challenge, nor did it feel to have a point other than to sort of be subjected to very detailed craftsmanship.
Hi! Thanks for your opinion. The music looping might be a web version thing, so try using a different browser or just download the exe.
Not quite sure what you meant by it being pointless. It's a jam game. There isn't supposed to be any big reward other then the experienc you get for playing the game.
I felt good playing, maybe because of the gameplay is always positive: no punishment, only rewards ; that's a great implementation of christmas spirit. But I don't get the role of sugar cane.
Thanks! Glad you appreciated it. The sugar cane is always on screen and is supposed to visually represent your progress. If I had more time, I propably would have expanded it further, but the minigames were too time consuming to make.
(Especialy the match 3 thing. That took like 6 hours and it's still a bit buggy)
I really liked the pixel art and the WarioWare style.
The only thing I could say is that the implementation of Momentum was a bit weak, beyond that, it's a great game.
Merry Christmas! 🎄 <3
Thanks, I wanted to do something more creative and unique for the theme even if it meant slightly sacrificing the connection to it.
This reminds me of an old Wii game I used to love called Wario Ware. Love the idea of a series of mini games, though we did find some a little confusing to understand or know what to do for them. Can see a lot of work has gone into this though, good job!
Thanks! Warioware was a big inspiration. There is a tutorial for each game in the top left along with the settings.
The sound design of the candy canes made me think that I lost them but then I understood it was my progression x) A lot of visuals and ideas, well done!
Thanks! Probably should have comunicated that better (._. )
Great game! the amount of work gone into this is honestly something else.
:D Thanks!
Great game! I really enjoyed the variety of mini-games and loved the snowball fight animation
Thanks a lot :)
I really enjoyed this! I think the connection to momentum was weak, but other than that, I LOVED IT!
Thank you!
That's a great collection of many mini games. I love it. Snowball fight was great ;)
Thanks! :D
there was a huge amount of effort invested here and it shows. love the game, i felt genuine happiness seeing the end screen :)
Yeah, it was a lot of work, but it was worth it in the end.
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the follow. ;-)
i like it i think you have huge chances of winning
Hehehe! Thanks!
I was 2nd in a jame gam before so it certainly would be nice.
The art / animation is amazing! I like the unique genre where the game is kind of an interactive story game.
Thanks a lot
Wow, that's a lot of mini-games in a single game! It felt like playing a Warioware game, except it's Christmas-themed!
Excellent job on your game!
Thank you. That's the vibe I was going for.
Love the whole vibe and the animation of the game! It's absolutely amazing! ✨
Thank you :)
So much variety in this game. I love it! The ending was great, how it went through the rest of the game. Good job.
Thanks!
