Got a chance to replay it, nice ending, then real ending, I spent some time trying to get out of that purple box haha.
Excited to see next steps!
That was a really fun game to play! I had to restart a few times to get the hang of thing but after the first few rough starts this really played quite well. The idea of going back multiple times to where you started is a fun take on start at the end.
I really liked the building setup you had there, it really felt like there is a lot that could be added to it, like traps of different kinds and what not - like a cold snap that would be a single use block that turns to a wood block after or something, this would give drive to not just have a single straight line to allow multiple enemies to get hit by aoe.
Note to anyone who is streaming playing these games, this game takes up a lot of cpu, so make sure you are on gpu render on obs!
Great work!
That was a long time of me taking my own ghost ships shots and thinking I was doing it right because I was getting more health. Little did I know you want to dodge your sides bullets and collect the enemy bullets.
This is a really fun take on this type of a game. Would like to see a quick tutorial or something so I dont spend a bunch of time confused at first.
Would be cool if there was a ghost that you could see so you get a feeling for where the shots are going to be coming from.
Great Work!
Thanks for trying the game, not sure why thats happening, try the webgl build, maybe that will help?

whats you setup?
This game is so freaking annoying, it took me like 35 tries just to get past the falling blocks.
Tricks - Full screen seems to help with input, use both w and space at falling area for faster clicking, good luck will help hahaha.
Amazing work, really liked the setup would like to see an easier input system, my system seemed to hate jumping when you would click it like half the time.
Edit: Tried this game again with nothing else running and the game ran really well!
The game was a bit short as you mentioned in the ending credits, but it was a lot of fun, I would suggest a few small changes like health packs and not healing to full between scenes so that you can make it feel like you are moving your same character forward.
Great work!
quick note caused my machine to crash while streaming and running a bunch of other apps.
I use the same technique of dumping into a few, and str and shield are the ones I select most, dash is super important hahaha.
I totally agree, itsoik and I plan on taking this game further, there is a lot more in the game that we havent been able to uncover. The player health manager can handle health up so its just a matter of having something drop for it.
One of the ways we were going to balance is to add more abilities, so you cant dump all the stats away in those. Whirlwind was added just today with our entire new ability system in place to add more a lot more easily!
As for the sword thing, that was actually a stand in that we were thinking of doing a shooting style game, but while debugging we tested with a quick sword and melee was from then on the way. I think maybe going the direction of a short ranged projectile, like flame thrower might make a lot of sense as there are a lot of bombs all over the place.
Thank you for the feedback and for playing!
