This is a great entry! Really nice art, awesome character design, great use of sound, good polish, and an interesting premise too! I did find it a little confusing as to how things were progressing, and whether I'd picked the correct or incorrect responses. I think some demonstrable "chances" system, similar to methods used in the Ace Attorney games, would be a good fit here.
I'd love to see this expanded, excellent work!

The feedback has helped a lot, I am currently working on updating the game, and adding a better way of demonstrating how the game works and how the logic of the game works when it comes to the interrogations, I also noticed there is more work to be done in the pacing of certain aspects of the game and of course adding more cases, but thank you so much for the interest!
This entry had some great narrative; lots of work clearly went into worldbuilding and plot. Some minor typos, but that's to be expected in a jam—especially with this much text content.
The other aspect I would mention—which others have noted—was that I felt it was kind of pushing me down a "correct" path, but this too is I think to be expected given the circumstances. That said, occasionally I felt like my character wasn't doing what I intended... and I ended up getting a "game over" scenario without actually realising I'd messed up. Perhaps I'm just a terrible interrogator! But I think it would benefit from branching options within a path; eg. picking "sympathize" but then getting a choice then from, say, 2 dialogue options to say (or to change your mind and go back, if you decide actually neither option is desirable). I get that this is even more branching, but I think it's always good to try and keep a strong bond between what the player is trying to do and what they end up doing.
Anyway, I really liked the art and character designs. Oh and the title screen transformation was awesome :)

I could definitely see a few problems in some of the systems but as you mentioned the time constraints made it tight to work on fixing and polishing, There are definitely some problems with the pacing and giving the player more signals as to when things are going wrong or right, and there is a need for a more logical evidence system, to give the player tools to connect the dots and be able to resolve the cases! And I definitly would love to expand on the scenarios and add more cases! Thanks again for giving my game a try and I hopefully will be bringing more updates! :3
The visuals and story for this game were really compelling and made me want to keep knowing more about the world and characters. However, I found it incredibly frustrating to be thrown back several times trying to get the precise order of interrogation. I think the linear path really hurt the fun factor for me, and when I did get it right it wasn't satisfying since it I only got the answer from the comment's on the game's page.
I do hope you revisit this game or continue the story since overall the writing was really strong!

That is one thing I realized was a flaw in the game, I didn't have the time to polish everything, so I've been rethinking a lot of the game is design, specifically that part, I need to figure out a way to allow the player to find out the answers in a more intuitive way without frustrating them, I've been watching a lot of videos from Ace attorney and other games similar to see If I can find a method of doing it in a more satisfying was,. My main idea was to have various cases with different suspects that would have different ways of interaction, some would succumb to pressure, others to questions and others to sympathy or combinations of various of this elements. It is definitely in development XD So I would like to fix a few things, and see if I can take it to another level!
If you have any ideas please I'm open for suggestions!
I know with the Ace Attorney games the way they keep you on track is a penalty/chances meter (I believe its 5 chances per case part) maybe that could serve as some inspiration and additional branching possibilities. Also what could help is having the suspect show stronger positive or negative reactions to the questions being asked, whether its in the art or the writing, similar to AA's extreme character personalities but to your own style that fits. Some of the reactions to the interrogation questions came off as ambiguous or like they were leading to success but fell off and I think maybe bumping the reaction impact could help players know they're on the right track.
Hope these suggestions can bring some inspiration, I really look forward to knowing more about the world you've built! ^^
Very good job on the storytelling. The art was pretty nice too! I do wish that there more branches to have taken though. It is a bit sour that the only method that ever works towards progressing the story is pressure, as it makes every other option seem superfluous. Still, I could see this making a good base for something akin to an ace attorney game!

I thought about it a lot, the main idea was to have more cases, and each character would have a different weakness, for example one would succumb to pressure, another to questions, or maybe a combination, but since I didnt have enough time, I ended up posting it as it is, but I would love to expand on it and add more branching paths and more satisfying conclusions! But yusss I got inspiration on games like Ace attorney I was trying to emulate the case system XD but then I realized it is pretty difficult and heavy to create so much in little time XD
I thought the art was cool, with lots of polished details! But the story was even more impressive! 👏
