fun little platformer with tight controls and a functional camera! impressive!
i knew we shouldn't have grown so many dang melons
Haha thank you for the kind feedback!
Great fun game :) It was fun to break watermelon. At first, I didn't understand how it grows, but after this is amazing! I love this idea and my score is 52. Who can beat it? :)
Oh wow that's the highest score I've seen yet! I'm glad you were able to figure it out and do so well. Thanks for playing :)
Wooow that is one hell of a way to approach the theme. By far the most interesting one I have seen yet. The game is quite hard to control and you need to be very delicate with your movement. I had a lot of fun playing that and griding all the way up! You can be proud of what you made 😄💛
Thank you very much :)
Great game, fun mechanics and also visually pleasing (and that squash sound!), really enjoyed it! And it was awesome having you on stream! Here's the VOD if you want to check that out again: (yours starts at 36:48)
Thanks it was really nice seeing you play on stream!
Really enjoyed playing this game! Once I realised the melons were causing the water levels to rise I quickly changed up my tactics haha. The sound effects were a great bonus too. Great job!
Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Funny game, maybe movement is a bit harsh, and camera is pretty annoying, but visuals are nice and the concept is pretty good. Good job!
Thanks for playing and for the feedback!
Enjoyed this, especially considering it's the first 3D I've played to rate so far. Once I got the hang of the camera and the controls all was good. I really liked the concept. The camera seemed a little sensitive. Also, not a big deal, but I downloaded it to run it full screen and I couldn't figure out a controlled way to exit so used ctrl-alt-del to Task Manager to kill it. Very impressive showing for being done within the space of 48 hours!
Thank you for your kind words!
Enjoyed this one! I ran into trouble with the camera being a little difficult to control. I love the slice collectables scattered everywhere, very fun to try and collect them all. I also like the "Ah-ha!" moment when I discovered that you could move the melons and make them grow seeds in new places.
Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you had an ah-ha moment and enjoyed collecting the slices :)
It's a good idea.I enjoyed jumping repeatedly on melons. But the character and camera controller really need to be polished.
Thanks for the feedback I'll be sure to iterate more on the base controls next time :)
I had a little bit of a hard time with the controls initially, the jump felt a little out of control to me. But once I got the hang of it, it was pretty satisfying to chain together a few jumps off watermelons. I liked the strategy of trying to place melons and melons seeds in locations where it would allow you to jump higher. I fun idea!
Yeah the controls could've used some more work for sure. I'm glad you understood and appreciated the strategy of it! Thanks so much for your feedback.
Very clever use of the physics with pushing melons into places you want to jump. The camera is a bit hard to control though. Great work! Keep it up!
Thanks for the feedback. I definitely agree the camera is difficult to handle but I'm glad you enjoyed the physics!
Wasn't super sold on the theme until I realized that squashing a melon made the seeds shoot out and grow new melon plants (plus raise the juice level). Super fun once I figured that out! Got to the top of the isle with 47 slices.
Loved the idea of being albe to roll a melon into a pit and then using its seeds to generate more melons and fill the pit until I can jump my way out. Fun and clever mechanic.
Thanks for your feedback. I'm glad you got the relation to the theme. That's the highest score I've seen yet!
