Nicely done, especially the little minimap. I think it would've been cool if the ship had some physics (e.g. didn't stop on a dime when accelerate is no longer pressed etc), and maybe an island counter so you know how many are left? As others have noted, the lighting also seemed a little stark - and perhaps some more details could've been added to make the sea a little more lively.

But that aside, it was a very chill little exploration game!

Thank you so much for playing the game! Yes, it definetly needs some adjustments, especially the sea, I hope to get back to it and add everything that has been suggested and make it even better! Again, thank you so so much for the feedback!

very nice! also I'm trying to spread the word about my game! so it would be great if every body could check it out! (and maybe even rate it!)

nice game, definitely felt like i was exploring the world you created! it might be good to add some more items that aren't islands - like bouys, seagulls, trash, waves etc - to give a sense of movement in the sea when there are no islands, but overall great job!

Perfect game! Your game fits the theme and is fun to play!

Super solid entry, I love the sailing vibe and it really felt like I was exploring the unknown by filling out this map and marking islands! Minimap was a great touch and prevented me from getting too lost, excellent job!

Really cool experience, it fits very well the theme! The atmosphere is so peaceful and the music is perfect. My only suggestion is to improve a bit the water shader adding waves. Well done!

peaceful and chill game!

Very peaceful and serene. I like the elongated water effect when you use the boost.

Good stuff. I like the minimap

Cool project. The water is pretty dull but I liked the minimap system. Good job!

I've never seen a ship with nitro before
Jokes aside, nice minimap. I think the movement could be a bit more dynamic, other than that its a nice concept. Cheers

Nice work. great use of the assets and liked the minimap feature.

Developer

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it, I'll try and work more on the minimap to make it even better if I come back to this!

So relaxing and fun to find the missing islands and mare them up on the mini map ! :D

If you can replace the yellow objects with a black fog objects on the mini map, that would make the mini map cooler :3

Overall, Great game !

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing the game and for the feedback! That would have been really cool indeed! But I couldn't find anything foggy in the assets I download when I made it.. I might edit it in the next update if I come back to it! Again, thank you so very much! :3

It is fun to see the same assets being used in so many different ways. This game fits the jams theme really good.

Notice: The game glitches out on Firefox with Ubuntu but I got it running on a chromium browser.

Thank you so much for playing the game, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yes it is so much fun to see all the possibilites of the various assets!
And I have no idea why it glitches out on Firefox, will have to look into it, thank you for pointing it out!

Went exploring on the sea, and once again found that the earth was flat indeed! But some magical force prevented you from falling down!

Neat little game! A UI element displaying how many islands are left could improve the gameplay.

Developer

Indeed, it must be a very powerful incantation!
Thank you very much for playing and for the feedback! I hadn't thought of adding a counter, but I'll surely add it if I come back to it after the jam! Again, thank you very much!

I love your missile boat! The game has a simple, but effective gameplay. The only thing some lights on the islands seem a little too strong and in general the only weak point is perhaps the visual part. But great job!

Developer

Thank you for playing the game and for the feedback! Yes I feel like I could have handled light a bit better, and possibily added more variety, I guess it will be for the next update. Thank you very much again!

Very interesting concept, i havent seen that much sailing game. There are rooms for improvements in my opinion. If you thinking develop further maybe adding velocity to ships movement, water shader, fixing z fighting on minimap would be great!

Developer

Thank you very much for your feedback! I wanted to implement all your suggestions, but was out of time unfortunately, I hope to add them in a next update when I come back to this project. And thank you so much for playing the game!

I feel you, same. There were so many features that we wanted to add. The time constraint is really tough! I think you should definitely keep improving. Check this game “Summer Trip Cruise”. Maybe it will help you to progress further!
