I like the game! You should also add wrapping to the sides and the ability to explore there as well. Then it can be said to be actual exploration, although I did like the variety in gameplay from the typical character and movement. Good job!

Good game, I like that you dont need to shoot anything if you dont want to
Once I got the hang of it I was gripped. I suspect I got hit by previous level projectiles on a couple of occasions which felt pretty harsh. Other than that I had a pretty awesome time. Maybe if you auto fly off the top of the screen once all the tings are collected that would zip it along, having to manually leave was a bit confusing at first. Good job
Wow this feedback was really good, i never tought about auto-flying! Thank you for playing, im very glad you liked my game! I already addressed how that bug works but here is an explaination :
- When you change levels, the game stores the bullets position (idk why, it isn't a feature, it just does that)
- when changing levels, the game clears all enemy, but cannot clear all bullets (otherwise an error comes up)
- When changing levels the game spawns you at the bottom of the screen
- so that means, that if you switch levels and you spawn with three bullets above you, you're dead
I am so sorry that this bug ruined your game experience, I tried to solve it, but nothing worked.
Thank you again for playing my game, and thank you for your time. - Franko
EDIT: i hope this explaination made you understeand how this bug works, and i hope next time i won't leave a bug like this one in the game haha
Neat take on things! I didn't really get a feeling of exploration while playing the game since you could see everything on screen at once, but not many people went the airplane direction so it was a refreshing take nonetheless. Solid twin-stick-like shooter, it gave off strong nostalgia vibes that I definitely appreciated.
Thank you for playing the game, this game was inspired by 1942 for the nes, but then i tought that adding the freedom for the player to move around (without being forced to go upwards all the time) was a better solution to the problem of the theme not fitting a lot.
Thank you for your feedback. - Franko
Pew pew pew pew pew! Great job making a top-down shooter-type game. Haven't played one of these in a while. I think it might be improved by adding some contrast between the bullets and the background as well as some contrast between the collectable pins and the background. They're a little hard to see in some settings. Maybe shadows beneath them would help? I did read the directions, so I knew to fly up, but you might also consider adding an indicator at the top of the screen telling the player to do the same when they get all 5 pins.
Almost lost at the boss, but I managed to sneak a win!
Hi, thank you for playing. Im glad you enjoyed the game. Your feedback about the indicato is somethiing i tought about, i tought about adding an arrow that points upwards when taking all bulbs and an indicator that makes you see how many bubls out of 5 you have collected, but i tried and failed miserably haha, at the end i didn't have enough time to submit the bugfixes and the updates so i think i might update a better version with all the feedbacks when jam finishes.
Thank you for your time - Franko
I managed to take no damage and kill no one (except the giant plane at the end). Fun game!
thank you for playing, that is a bug unfortunately that i couldn't fix in time. Here is an explaination of how that bug works:
- When you change levels, the game stores the bullets position (idk why, it isn't a feature, it just does that)
- when changing levels, the game clears all enemy, but cannot clear all bullets (otherwise an error comes up)
- so that means, that if you switch levels and you spawn with three bullets above you, you're dead
I am so sorry that this bug ruined your game experience, I tried to solve it, but nothing worked.

EDIT: if you want, pleas try reaching part 2 again, i'll assure you that if there are no bullets at the bottom of the screen when changin levels, you will not die
I took damage... I killed people. :D
Fun game, took me a few tries to figure how to keep moving on through the level, I read the bit about the green bulbs, but it didn't click that I then needed to go off the screen myself. I guess I'm just used to these types of top-down plane games where you're always moving forward.
Hi, thank you for the feedback! The game was supposed to be an auto-scroll, but it felt too unfair and way too fast, so i decided to give players the freedom to eplore, since it's the theme of the jam. HINT: perfect run would be "you took no damage, you killed noone"
Thank you for playing, and thank you for your time - Franko
Nice shooting game you got. pretty easy to play! The final boss was a nice element.
Cool chill game :3
there are a lot of enemies to shoot though D:
overall, well made !
Very cool game! There is room for improvements but great job within 48 hours!
Good game!
Fun to play, great concept. Didn't encountered bug with controls, tried to find why it happening, but wasn't able to xD
First two parts of the game are a little too easy, with some luck. I was able to finish entire second part in like 10 seconds. So i think it's better to make some sort of timer and spawn bulb every three-five seconds, instead of all at one. Or making them generate far away from each other.
hi, thank you for the feedback! second part was supposed to be longer, to have more levels, but i had no more time and i didn't want levels to feel repetitive. The idea of spawning them after 3 seconds each is something that i alredy tried, but it wasn't working. Thank you for your time and thank you for playing. - Franko
Good work on this! Some feedback;
- Add a title screen so the game doesn't automatically begin, gives players a bit more time to adjust
- Try not to resize sprites when they're pixel art, keep everything a single pixel density
- The music isn't great, see if you can find a track that's more on the background
- Bug; Sometimes it doesn't capture controls, not letting me play
- Bug; I've collected all items but it won't progress
Hi, thank you for the feedback! I'm going to addres your request real quick.
- i tried adding a title screen, but i'm still new to pygame and i used this jam to learn it, might add it after this jame ends!
- thank you, i never knew a lot about pixel art, im not goingg to resize them next time!
- thank you for the feedback on the music, gonna keep in mind about that!
- when the game doesn't capture controls, i can't do anything about that, since the browser compiling is made using pygbag and the last version of it has some bugs;
- in response to the last bug report, sometimes a bulb can spawn in the edge of the screen, i knew about that bug from the beginning, tried to solve it but sometimes it just comes back up;
Thank you for playing, and thank you for your time!
Fun game, pretty balanced, tried a couple of times for a perfect run but it's not that easy
EDIT: I see that you're a fellow "no game engine" game dev :D Good work!
