That was super impressive! I'm always a sucker for an RPG. Thoroughly enjoyed the shopkeeper dialogue, that when you get hit you turn into a ghost for a second, breaking barrels felt satisfying, and the movement animation was pretty adorable.
I did run into a few bugs though:
- The first time I played I got stuck on level 1, because I couldn't access the final room. That happened a few more times in other levels with rooms getting blocked off, but I was lucky enough that the portal was somewhere I could get to).
- The second time, a bunch of NPCs died on top of the portal to the next level, so I couldn't see the purple indicator.
- When I made it to the final boss fight, I was somehow dropped outside of the actual level, so I was able to run around in the blackness around the boss, but could not get into the walls where the boss was to fight the boss (the door opening animation and boss model looked really nice though, and gave me a feeling of epicness even without music telling me it was epic).
Despite the bugs, this was fun to play. Great work!
