I really liked this game! Pity you couldn't select the weapons, but still fun blowing stuff up!!

Keep jamming!

Developer

Yeah, with the full jam duration I felt confident fitting stuff in, but losing a few days early meant some stuff had to be cut from the flowing concepting.
Thanks for playing!

Shades of some good old arcade shooting action.  I love where it's headed and look forward to more once the dust settles from the jam!  Great job, Hunted!  Keep codin' and I'll keep blastin'!

Developer

I'll keep you posted lance, thanks for playing!

Cool! It looked hard to make. I was a little confused about how the lasers you shoot follow the camera, and how to get more ammo. I also seemed to never take any damage from anything. Not sure if I'm just a god gamer or if I broke something. Nice!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

Yeah, the lasers were local to the player's transform because I wasn't sure how to do 'aim assist' to help the player hit more, global space shots have been implemented on a rebuild of the project, and it feels much better from the realism perspective. They also auto aim and can hit out at like 5km at slow enemies.

Similar goes for the enemies targeting, they lead the player but just it's velocity, i was worried about them absolutely lasing people so theres a 'fudge' factor on them to cause them to miss a little more than they should have.

Fun gameplay! Reminded me of playing Privateer2 with a mouse and keyboard long ago. Great entry!

Cheers for playing Feargan,
Nothing quite like making a game similar to one you want to play to get informed of all the similar ones to go play after :D

Cool space dogfight game! I liked the variety of the enemies and weapons. I thought the animation and little details were great.I'm impressed anyone could build a space game like this in such a short amount of time. It is no wonder y'all ran out of time before adding everything you hoped for, so don't feel bad about that. I look forward to more of your games in the future!

Cool game! you would only have to put audio and make the enemies harder and it would be a really good arcade game

Had to give audio a 1, you captured the vast silence of space well but the ship could have used a radio :) i did enjoy the talking sound effects and the overall tutorial design. game play was really fun! Good UI and one of the few games that worked in high resolution :)

Cheers Slurp- it sure is lonely out in space, on such a timeless flight.
I was aiming to learn how to music make but it wasn't a skill I could pick up in time for the jam and wanted the game to be 99% my own assets this time, thanks for playing!
