Really cool concept here. I like the artwork and feel of the game. I bit more visual feedback and sound feedback on the state of the character would be nice as the portrait frame feedback just doesn't feel like enough. Regardless, you have something fun here to build onto. Great job.
It's a great game, it feels very polished for a game jam with nice visuals and transitions! The game concept it's very good and challenging. Good job! Sorry Jade for all the trouble xD
I couldn't find out what to do because I kept dying before the tutorial got to that part ^^' It's a cute looking game and I'm sure it's fun, I just couldn't know what to do because of the slow tutorial which is the only gripe I have about the game. It's a cute game and well done otherwise.
Rest in peace Jade, who passed due to frostbite. Your memory will live on with Wong.
In all serious, I think the campaign did a nice job of introducing concepts, but it might have been a tad too slow. The sense of humor was good. I think the game was really polished though and I found myself enjoying it a lot once the action kicked up a notch.
Good game and gets tough quick. I would maybe change the background colour a bit to inform the player more as the temperature changes. I was caught off guard a lot with rapid temp changes, and playing on laptp makes it hard to quickly switch clothes
Great idea and execution! The game seems very polished, the only thing that gave me trouble was having to drag stuff in the inventory instead of just clicking it, but I guess its part of the challenge haha
This was very neat, I liked that there were times where you didn't want to wear your *entire* outfit like maybe keep the hat on but lose the jacket etc. The music was very nice and the dialogue was well written too. Very polite game haha.
Nice game! It took some time to get hang of it though. Really good idea and the endless mode was more fun than the campaign.
Really nice game! I like the visuals, it all fits together and creates quite a relaxing feeling (that disappears as soon as your character dies). It took me a few levels to figure out what all those different temperatures on the screen mean, but after that, it felt quite intuitive.
The only thing I would change is perhaps the controls. The game pace is quite fast and to change an item one must click on it, drag on an empty spot in inventory, click on another item and equip it with another drag. If you drop the item when the cursor is in a slightly wrong position, it goes back. I think just drag & drop from inventory to character and vice versa (with possible slot swap) would feel better.
Really cute game, great job! I love the look of it and the music works well with it. Took me a while to figure out all the temperature readings and how the clothes work though. Also it would be great if you could equip another set of clothes by having them replace the equipped ones, instead of having to unequip and equip.
Nice game! I really liked the idea of having to manage your clothes for the environment around you, and I think it worked well! The variety of clothes was nice, and having them grouped into sets in the shop helped make it clearer what they did. Some more feedback and explanation could've helped the game though, since it was a little confusing what was happening at first - I just sort of randomly equipped things and hoped for the best, and didn't realise when I was overheating or freezing. Maybe some sound effects, or the screen changing colour slightly, might've been good. Still, I understood what was going on in the end! Another thing I'd have liked was a way to quickly swap clothes, like by double clicking them, since it was a bit difficult to change them otherwise.
The graphics were really good, especially for only a week! Each character having a unique avatar was a great touch and it added some nice character to the game. I loved the clothing graphics as well, and they were very readable, which was great for telling what they were from a glance. The transition between menus was also really nice, so good work on that. The music fit well with the game, but some more sound effects when doing things would've added to the game as well - the ones that were in the game, though, were good!
It was a fun little game, and it has a lot of potential too - great work on this one!
