The game is just wow!!

The concept is very unique...Recommend you to add the patience of the player so its possible to lose the game!!

But the game is fun to play tho!

After playing this game, I understood that I like to serve tea. Your simple and solid approach kept me busy.

good job

I like the simple approach to the game of what seems like a simple concept but then turns into a a bit of a challenge to handle the balance. Really well done.

I really enjoyed this game. I love the whole restaurant vibe in a game in general. I played it for a while and didn't see an end although I'd love to play it for a while! It is an addicting game like candy crush for me! Loved the characters that came in and the color pallets are spot on.  I hope you will develop this game further and more things such as food.

nice little game I kept making tea at 90c for some reason I thought that was what it was till I re looked at how to play and was like its 80c not 90x silly. Liked the way you used the theme in your game though.

Enjoyed it a lot! It’s so calm and meditative, suits the tea theme very well. I actually liked the way it didn’t punish the player too much. The customers were nice, patient, and mostly supportive :D. Would be nice to have some variation as the game goes on though. Maybe time/days passing, customers asking for more specific requests, small goals and progression, etc.

The kettle temperature control confused me a bit, I didn’t realize you could turn them on/off. Ended up serving one customer with 20 degree tea because I thought I could at least start using that pot again afterwards XD. Some visual indicators would be nice there.

On an unrelated note, having to drag and drop the kettle onto the customer felt like I was pouring boiling water onto them. For some reason I couldn’t get this image out of my head.

Great work overall!

Thanks so much for the feedback :) Really glad you enjoyed the game!

I really like your idea of time/days passing and think I will try to implement that in the next update.

I feel terrible, but reading your comment about how it feels like you're pouring boiling water onto the poor animals made me laugh out loud hahahah. I really should change that!

I really got into the flow of this one. Starts out pretty relaxing, but gets intense. I now know what it's like to work the morning rush at a cafe, very educational lol.

My only suggestion would be the clicking mechanics, I kept accidentally boiling a bit over the temperature I wanted when I turned it off. Other than that I'd love to see some unique levels with like, maybe star ratings for a score on how well you did!

Developer

Hahahha glad you enjoyed the game! I agree with the feedback about the kettle, I'm going to try tuning that a bit more and handling the dragging/clicking better :) Thanks for playing!

Simple, yet fun to play little game. I like the art style and the chill music and SFX that compliments it. To improve it, you could add some kettle on/off indicator and introduce some kind of progression or a goal for the player.

Developer

Definitely going to add the kettle on/off indicator! Thanks for the suggestion :)

The arts are simple yet effective. The music  match the atmosphere pretty well. Pretty solid game I must say.

This is really fun, though I wasn't sure how to win (or lose!)  After I played for awhile it seemed to slow down some.  If you're instantiating the kettles you may try activating / deactivating them instead to improve performance.  I really liked that you could stop a kettle from heating up and let it cool down a bit--this added to the strategic element because you could try to maintain ballpark temperatures so you didn't have to wait as long.  Really well thought out on that.  And the music/characters/art were all very friendly and nice!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! I've noted down your feedback with the performance, I'm not too sure what might be causing it because I'm not instantiating the kettles or customers constantly. Definitely will look into it :)

Interesting!  I thought for sure that would be it.

A very interesting take on the theme! I enjoyed the graphics and background music, too. It would really benefit from some kind of game over-mechanic. For example, you could have the customers leave after waiting too long and the game ends when too many leave or when you serve too many at the wrong temperature. In its current state, it's just a little too repetitive.

Developer

Thanks for the suggestion, really appreciate it!

I wanted the game to not be punishing to players and just be chill, but I agree that it could get repetitive. I think the game over state when too many gets served the wrong temperature will be a nice addition and won't compromise the relaxing vibe of the game too much!

A cool concept that could use some polishing. For example, dragging a kettle turns the kettle back on, which messes up the temperature.

I liked how calm and meditative the game is, though. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I agree with your point, I need to find a way to handle that initial difference between a click and a drag for sure.

Definitely unique concept!
