Well look at y'all! This is a fully complete game with a solid unique mechanic! Fantastic work!

What I loved:

  • Great use of color and aesthetics. The entire thing fit really well together. I think the only thing that didn't fit with the looks was the AI art that grew around the walls. It helped tell the story of the relationship, but I did find it to be too complex compared to the low poly and minimalistic look of the rest of the game. Despite that, the look was fantastic
  • Sound design was on point too! There were plenty of bleeps and bloops that just worked and fit in with the overall feel of the game. This can also be said for the music as well.
  • Incredibly unique mechanic. I thought I was the only one who met their significant other by swinging them into random objects, but it looks like y'all have experienced this too! It was a bit of a challenge to master this mechanic though.

Some Suggestions:

  • The main mechanic was unique and fun, but it was difficult to use. Between the pulling and pushing, our wonderful date easily gets thrown off in unexpected ways. It may have been better to focus on only pulling or swinging as a mechanic so you didn't have to fine tune two different unique mechanics.

It's always amazing when someone has a fully complete game during a jam, so congrats! It was a complete package and I wouldn't be shocked if y'all rank highly. Thanks you for your hard work and for such a great entry into the jam!

Lots of fun.  I actually found the characters and physics very cool and pretty easy to control.  Great job!

Like others, I really like the concept and the look & feel of the game - however, the character is so hard to control it was almost unplayable unfortunately. I tried pushing her forward, I tried swinging her to the side, I tried attracting her then let her pass me to the other side - I watched the trailer, but just didn't seem to be able to get the same movement from her. I'd swing her around, but then she'd just stopped dead. So ultimately, it was quite hard to play...

I did like the look of the game though, nice style to it and also the physics on the woman and present toss were all nicely put together. I liked how the background would expand as you picked up presents - nice touch!

Even though I really struggled to figure out how to swing her in a direction of MY choosing, it was really fun and now I'm sweaty so this will be the last game I play tonight. lol. I had a lot of fun. Well done, just maybe indicate HOW to swing in game better. The video seemed to show it better than I was doing it.

I was confused at the title for a moment until your core mechanic became clear... This is 360 VR Breakout where you grab the 'ball' in between 'shots'!  I'm not sure I've seen that before in VR, so kudos on a unique mechanic.  Maybe it would have been fun to have more 'blocks to clear' rather than 'gifts to collect', putting the gifts beyond the barrier you break down by 'dancing with your girl'?  I dunno.  I liked that you could take her by the hands, that was nice too.
Good stuff!

Nice game! The main mechanic is quite original but difficult to master haha

I had to watch the trailer to figure out how to play but I was having quite a hard time trying to fling her around. The idea behind the mechanic really really cool! Attracting her and sliding her into gift boxes lol! It was just a little too hard for me to control and I felt like I was just getting lucky tossing her into the gift boxes rather than me actually aiming and tossing her into them. I found it was easier to just press the trigger to drag her into you and not grab her at all, hoping she would hit the boxes. Maybe an indicator or something where she will be headed when you release will help the player get a sense of how to throw better. I really liked the colors and the art style!
