Thank you for playing and for providing interesting feedback!
Yes, the ships can shoot each other. Initially I also planned to add some damage when they collide.
I think that this game really needs different types of enemies in order to be more fun. Here is what I have initially planned but didn't have time to implement:
- Asteroid field with 3 sizes of asteroids. Small ones can be destroyed by shooting them once. Medium ones can be split into small ones. Large ones have to be avoided.
- Small enemy drones that can be one-shot
- Current enemy type (probably should have less HP as you suggest)
- Copy of the current enemy but with a shield that would turn on and off every 3-4 seconds.
- The boss ship with many turrets. They each should have only 1 HP but their number should be terrifying.
I like your idea of adding more movement to enemies. Right now they are supposed to move diagonally with some random values but it's buggy and should be reworked.
Very interesting idea about adding piloting tricks like barrel roll. I definitely want to play-test it π€©
I have many ideas of how to expand this game: voice acting of dialogs between the two pilots, shields, pick ups for health refills and weapon upgrades, etc. But first I need to improve my skills in Blender in order to be able to make better graphics π

- I was trying to implement some easing for enemy arrival but I ran out of time :(
- Interesting idea! I haven't thought about auto-firing.
- Initially I planned to add shields but I haven't had time to work on them. I didn't think about pick ups though, thank you for the idea. I also wanted to add the second type of enemies that would have shields but only for a fixed amount of seconds.
I hope that I will be able to find time to work more on this project in the future π
Great job! The gameplay is fun.
Three small feedbacks if one day you decide to improve your game:
- At first it was a bit hard to understand how to reload the gun.
- If I drop the gun it falls through the floor.
- I find it confusing that bullets don't hurt enemies that shoot at me.
What I liked:
- The game forces the player to move around the field quite a lot making the experience very dynamic.
- Plenty of levels with different enemies, visuals and with increasing difficulty.
- Shooting feels good. I don't know if there is any aim assist but I didn't have any problem with aiming while moving.
Overall a very cool game jam entry! ππ»

I am glad you liked the environments. I went with the "simple and slightly unsettling" vibe. My initial idea was to make the environments feel like theatrical scenery but I didn't have time to work on it.
This was my first attempt to make a story-driven game. I see a lot of potential in VR as a medium for interactive narratives.
Thank you for playing! Your comment is a joy to read ππ»
This is my very first attempt to make a story-driven game and I am glad that you found it engaging. All my previous projects were purely focused on gameplay mechanics. My goal for the future is to be able to combine the two: a game that provides both an engaging narrative and an original mechanic.
The game looks beautiful! I liked the fluffiness of characters. Also, great voice acting for Mr. Heart in the main menu! ππ»
I imagine that the pumping mechanic can get tiring but it works very well in a short game like this.
One time when I gave the character exactly what she wanted she seemed unhappy. Is this a bug or is it how real love works sometimes? π€
Nice visual environment! Curiosity question: have you modelled it yourself or have you used an asset?
There is some flickering when using a VR device but this happens in many VR games.
The cables were quite difficult to grab but once I started grabbing the right part it became easier.
Overall good entry! ππ»
