Thank you for your suggestions! πŸ™‚

Yes, it would be cool to have some different locations and not just the hyperspace. Let's see if my graphics skills will allow me to implement them.

I absolutely love the idea of one the ships getting captured and the other ship having to free it.

Thank you for playing and for providing interesting feedback!

Yes, the ships can shoot each other. Initially I also planned to add some damage when they collide.

I think that this game really needs different types of enemies in order to be more fun. Here is what I have initially planned but didn't have time to implement:

  • Asteroid field with 3 sizes of asteroids. Small ones can be destroyed by shooting them once. Medium ones can be split into small ones. Large ones have to be avoided.
  • Small enemy drones that can be one-shot
  • Current enemy type (probably should have less HP as you suggest)
  • Copy of the current enemy but with a shield that would turn on and off every 3-4 seconds.
  • The boss ship with many turrets. They each should have only 1 HP but their number should be terrifying.

I like your idea of adding more movement to enemies. Right now they are supposed to move diagonally with some random values but it's buggy and should be reworked.

Very interesting idea about adding piloting tricks like barrel roll. I definitely want to play-test it πŸ€©

I have many ideas of how to expand this game: voice acting of dialogs between the two pilots, shields, pick ups for health refills and weapon upgrades, etc. But first I need to improve my skills in Blender in order to be able to make better graphics πŸ˜

Nice entry! πŸ‘πŸ»

I tried to interact with the witch and got caught by a skeleton haha πŸ’€

Great job πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

This game is my favourite for this jam. It brings so much within a very reasonable scope. I love the humour. The LED-screen visual effect is really nice.

Your voice-acting is inspiring - now I want to try to do voice acting for my next game

Nice game jam entry! πŸ‘πŸ»

As others say, the speed needs to be increased. I liked the sounds and the idea of looking for a gas canister

Impressive jam entry! Your game really feels spooky πŸ‘πŸ»

I guess it's a combo of a cool fog effect, sound and an environment that feels functional but abandoned, haunted πŸ‘πŸ»

The game looks amazing (I played on PC VR with postprocessing on). Even UI looks great which is very rare for game jam entries πŸ‘πŸ»

Attacking enemies with your hands is fun but what I liked the most is flying around as a bat πŸ¦‡πŸ˜‚

Thank you for playing and for your feedback! πŸ™ŒπŸ»

- I was trying to implement some easing for enemy arrival but I ran out of time :(

- Interesting idea! I haven't thought about auto-firing.

- Initially I planned to add shields but I haven't had time to work on them. I didn't think about pick ups though, thank you for the idea. I also wanted to add the second type of enemies that would have shields but only for a fixed amount of seconds.

I hope that I will be able to find time to work more on this project in the future πŸ™‚

Nice asteroid shooter! I like that each session is just 10 seconds. It's interesting to compare my aiming with the right and with the left hand.

I like the idea of an expanding black hole. I find it a bit difficult to understand what to do. It would be cool to see a walkthrough video

Ah, okay. I figured it out. Teleportation works using the grab button  πŸ˜…

Looks like a good start!

FYI I don't know why but teleportation didn't work for me (I'm using a Quest 3)

Impressive number of gameplay mechanics (buttons, blast doors, power cells, a crane with controls). That's a lot to implement during a game jam πŸ‘πŸ»

I recognize the VRIF. It's really cool 😎
I used it in two of my previous projects.

Interesting concept! I've never thought about driving a carriage in VR until now haha

Great job! The gameplay is fun.

Three small feedbacks if one day you decide to improve your game:

  • At first it was a bit hard to understand how to reload the gun.
  • If I drop the gun it falls through the floor.
  • I find it confusing that bullets don't hurt enemies that shoot at me.

What I liked:

  • The game forces the player to move around the field quite a lot making the experience very dynamic.
  • Plenty of levels with different enemies, visuals and with increasing difficulty.
  • Shooting feels good. I don't know if there is any aim assist but I didn't have any problem with aiming while moving.

Overall a very cool game jam entry! πŸ‘πŸ»

Hey, this google drive link does not allow to download the file. It says that I would need to request access first πŸ™ˆ

Thank you for playing! I tried to create a layout that keeps surprising. Glad that it worked πŸ‘πŸ»

Indeed, some interaction need polishing. I plan to fix it in an update.

Thank you for playing! πŸ‘πŸ»

I am glad you liked the environments. I went with the "simple and slightly unsettling" vibe. My initial idea was to make the environments feel like theatrical scenery but I didn't have time to work on it.

This was my first attempt to make a story-driven game. I see a lot of potential in VR as a medium for interactive narratives.

Thank you for playing! I am glad that the humour clicked.

I wonder what is the ratio of people who chose to keep the app in the last stage

Thank you for playing! Your comment is a joy to read πŸ™ŒπŸ»

This is my very first attempt to make a story-driven game and I am glad that you found it engaging. All my previous projects were purely focused on gameplay mechanics. My goal for the future is to be able to combine the two: a game that provides both an engaging narrative and an original mechanic.

Lots of potential in this one if you choose to continue it! As an engineer I appreciate the WD WB-40 haha

Side note: the hands appear 90 degrees upwards compared to controller position (OpenXR quest link with quest 3 device)

The game looks beautiful! I liked the fluffiness of characters. Also, great voice acting for Mr. Heart in the main menu! πŸ‘πŸ»

I imagine that the pumping mechanic can get tiring but it works very well in a short game like this.

One time when I gave the character exactly what she wanted she seemed unhappy. Is this a bug or is it how real love works sometimes? πŸ€”

Nice game! The cupid has some impressive dance moves. His head does 360 degrees rotation at some point haha πŸ™ˆ

It's great to see a game jam entry that uses hand tracking. Nice jobπŸ‘

Sometimes spheres appeared while the table was empty. I guess that eating some air also brings points haha

The gameplay is very simple but the environments look nice. The main menu feels very polished. Overall nice entry!

I was holding down the Meta button on my right controller. Normally it recenters me but here it did nothing

Interesting visual style and atmosphere! I always suck at throwing things in VR but getting the needed amount of points was quite easy and straightforward.

The beginning looks promising but I haven't figured out how to play beyond playing the cassette recording

The first prison room looks promising but I haven't figured out how to climb the wall or how to combine hearts πŸ€”

Any tips? πŸ˜…

Chill walking around a beautiful area. Fireworks at the end were a nice touch πŸ‘πŸ»

I would suggest to add sprinting to make movement more dynamic πŸ˜‡

Oh man! This game is weird. But it's weird in the good sense πŸ€£
I love it. Keep that creativity flowing!

Tiny note: I didn't manage to recenter my position in-game on my Quest 3. Everything just stays at the same place. Luckily the room I am playing in is large enough.

Haha thank you for playing πŸ™‚

I plan to fix the smartphone interaction and the "things falling through the door" bug in the next release along with some performance improvements for Quest 2 (Quest 3 and PCVR already work well).

Nice game! The main mechanic is quite original but difficult to master haha

Oops. I removed the wrong tag πŸ˜‡

Same result on Quest 2, so I guess it's a problem with my PC configuration? But I have no idea what I can change... :(

Ah, let me try with Quest 2. I have it on a shelf.

Unfortunately my Quest 3 controllers didn't work in this game :(

It's really impressive to see a web VR game that runs so smooth and yet looks good in terms of graphics.

I found the gameplay itself a little bit too simple. If I just hold both knifes they collide with all projectiles.

Environment and the enemy are very well designed. Great job! πŸ‘πŸ»

Nice visual environment! Curiosity question: have you modelled it yourself or have you used an asset?

There is some flickering when using a VR device but this happens in many VR games.

The cables were quite difficult to grab but once I started grabbing the right part it became easier.

Overall good entry! πŸ‘πŸ»

Unfortunately the game only launches in flat screen on my Quest 3 device :(

I tried using the Oculus app as OpenXR and SteamVR.
