Did you work in a team?
4 of us. Was indeed fun. We were talking about continuing development after the jam.
Was the resolution a challenge?
Graphically, yes, otherwise, surprising not. Only issue is with browsers and blurring of pixel art.
What did you learn?
Never used Phaser 3, it's nice.

really fun once you figure it out, but it took me a while to understand what every hero does and the controls
It's Hero Time! The voice was spot on for early console/coin-op game voice fx. :)
Lovely art and great gameplay. Well done!
Feels like a full game !
Great concept and story.
It may be a little confusing at start ;)
A lot of things to like about this game. The art and the sound are great and the puzzles are genuinely enjoyable. I'm going to finish playing this one later. It's true that figuring out that first level is a bit of a pain but on the following levels, figuring out the heroes becomes part of the fun. Maybe, rather than a manual, what it really needs is a few extra levels with almost zero difficulty, so you learn what to do through experience instead of trying everything. Nice work!
Neat! Once you understand how the heroes work, it becomes a relatively challenging puzzle.
Great puzzle game! I like that whenever a new hero is available, there's an easy level which basically shows the correct way to use the hero.
It's a little difficult to understand how to play the first two levels, but then the mechanics become clear and fun. Nice little puzzle.
Really cute artstyle and fun gameplay!
Cool framing for a puzzle game. It took me a bit to realize how to control the heroes at first, but once I got past it all the controls for the later heroes felt quite straight-forward. I enjoyed playing this.
It was pretty difficult for me to understand how to play. But that earrape voice kept me playing 😂.
Haha! Sorry
This really is a fun game when you realize whats going on. I liked the graphics and the concept worked well. -oneak
ITS HERO TIME!
Very intrestin as for me, like it)
It’s a great game ! Loved the visuals and the sounds. It’d be great to have a tutorial in the beginning, as I couldn’t understand the mechanics at all and had to fail a bunch of times in order to understand what was going on. But overall a really solid game !
Thanks. I'm not up on tutorials, I always feel the game should teach you by letting you play. The idea was to let people fail, the levels were designed to guide you through each Hero. Like Fissure; there were 2 levels, one with a single hostage and one with a single enemy. The idea was to teach the player that Fissure could save hostages and kill enemies through those.
Great puzzle gameplay! Really intuitive tutorialization of the new heroes as well. Unfortunately I got softlocked on a level where there was no available use for Shockwave :(
Could use a quick restart button perhaps?
The only real negative was the sound effects, they gave me a chuckle at first but grew annoying pretty quickly. Overall a really fun game, good entry :)
Hey! Thanks for the feedback! I was sure about this thing with music at least, but was no time to redo implementation :)
Cool game! It was especially interesting to learn which hero did what and the strategy was fun! Great job.
Interesting idea, hard to catch how to play at firsts levels.
Authentic 64x64, well done!
Personally i didn't like the distorted "It's hero time." every single attempt, nice music, nice SFX.
Best regards!
That was my idea to play "It's hero time" every round. Maybe not my best idea.
really fun puzzles and lovely lil hero designs!
Nice, love the little characters :)
Interesting concept. I liked using a hostage rescue scenario as premise for a puzzle game. Cute pixel art and funny voice acting!
