Did you work in a team?
Concept, programming, and art was done by David Jalbert
Music and sound effects (coming soon) were made by Aoife Scully

We didn't have enough time to finish everything, but it was a great learning experience, and we still managed to create something neat and playable. So all in all, it was a success!

Was the resolution a challenge?
Text was especially hard to display in a readable manner. Limiting the amount of text displayed at once and using tools like Text Mesh Pro helped a lot.

What did you learn?
I learned about coroutines, state machines, and how to manage my time better.

I like this one a lot. The 3D is done very well; things look good up close and at a distance, which some other 3D submissions couldn't quite get working. I like the music and audio as well.

Great entry, reminds me alot of Dragon Warrior

Very beautiful and very easy.

Excellent use of the resolution! I really enjoyed playing this one. The atmosphere is well done. I like the way you mixed 2d and 3d into the game, and the controls are intuitive. Nicely done!

Very fun game! It is really nice looking and very simple to understand! It is pretty easy for now, and pretty much anything you do is good, but it was still a lot of fun! Nice work!

You guys did a great job!

It turned out a little too easy, but that's better than being too hard and unplayable. I really was expecting some kind of boss on the last portal, as it made that ambient sound. The sound also played during a fight, which gave me an uneasy feeling (in a positive way).

The map worked really well - it was a good idea to put it as the first menu item to access it fast. I'm also happy you didn't make the levels too big... I always fear of walking into the wrong direction and have like dozens of random encounters while walking all the way back.

The graphics are really lovely and I love the music, especially the battle theme! I can't wait to see the full game in the future :)

Simple and nice - I love the atmosphere, and the progressive level system (with magic too)  - and the step on fluid animation (using such a low resolution) is great. Congratulations .-)

Fun little game. I enjoyed how smooth the walking animation was and how well made the 1 bit enemy sprites were.

Completely captivated right from the start. I love the atmosphere alot, super cool to see a 3d game like this in low res.

Really fun to play. Reminds me of Phantasy Star with the dungeon on rails (kinda).

A refreshing little adventure. Graphics and ounds were really good. Iw ant to see the real ending, as suggested by th end scrolling.

Wow, super EYE OF THE BEHOLDER vibes. I love the music and presentation. Great job.

This was really fun: I usually don't like turn-based combat as I feel like nothing I do tactics wise makes a difference, but I didn't feel that in this game: it was a good balance of different options based on magic, attacks and fleeing too. I really love the artwork, and the music is super awesome!

Absolutely gorgeous game with great music as well. The gameplay felt a bit too easy, but I imagine it would have ramped up if there were additional levels. It definitely left me wanting more.
