Did you work in a team?
This was a close collaboration between Mackievellian (music and sound effects) and Pawprints (development and art). It was really fun to bounce ideas around and riff off each others' work!
Was the resolution a challenge?
We wanted to have lots of interesting artwork and animation in the background but keep the UI readable during fast-paced gameplay. Hopefully we struck a balance!
What did you learn?
We learnt that meeting deadlines is hard... but we'll definitely be continuing to work on it!

Very cool game~ It was fun to follow the rhythms using this take on the 'Gitaroo Man' system. I'm usually quite poor at this types of games, but I was still able to enjoy it! I read below that you will update it, so I'm excited to play more in the future~

I was terrible at the first Chiptari Woman. Absolutely awful. And yet I kept playing. Between the top-tier pixelwork and absolutely fantastic music, I kept playing.
I'm not any better at Chiptari Woman 2. I'm still absolutely awful. And yet. I keep playing, for all the same reasons. Well done.

This is absolutely fantastic! It'd be useful in browser (non-fullscreen) to have a second key bound as well as space, as space defaults to scrolling when not in a form control in Firefox :)

Hey! Hope you don’t mind me following up on this. I tried recreating the bug in Firefox (on MacOS), and I found that the spacebar doesn’t scroll the page if you’ve clicked inside of the game’s frame. Is it the same for you, or dos yours scroll even after having clicked on the game?
Feels lovingly crafted, short and sweet, banging soundtrack, nostalgic visuals, big fan from the first Chiptari.
