The idea of using a train as a timer is perfect for a typing game. The art and sound are nice too

Pretty fun game and good idea to do a typing simulator.  Honestly played it longer than I wouldve expected.  typing was pretty responsive and It seemed to have zero bugs.  nice job

solid typing game play works well and the graphics are nice too

just I'd change the fact that if you miss a letter you should start over with the word not just where you missed

I actually found this pretty addicting for a simple typing game lol. Great work!

Really cute game, very wholesome and relaxing! I like the fact you used a nice readable lowercase font instead of the narrow pico-8 one too. I wonder if I’d have actually learned to touch-type had they provided this in school…

Nice, I love a typing game.  Needs an option to start on a higher level / hard mode-- the first 5 levels I basically didn't see the train at all.  Cute art, nice execution!

Thanks for your comment! True. The challenge starts at level 5 for me too. I'd implement a difficulty select if I had more time :/

A very cute little typing game.  Feels like something that would be on one of those really old computers.  Very different from the rest of the games for this jam.  Nice job!

Looked a bit blurry on my screen, like there was some filtering going on.
Fun typing game otherwise!

Huh. Weird. Can you tell what browser you're using?

Submitted(+1)

I'm using Firefox, but also I'm on OSX which might be likely the cause if no one else is experencing it! I've attached an example of how it looks. The display view isn't small or anything, and I can see it's meant to look a lot sharper in the screen shots

It looks fine in Safari!

Ah. I figured it out. CSS property `image-rendering` must be set to `crisp-edges` in order for firefox to render it properly. Thanks for pointing this out! I updated the game so now it should render properly on firefox as well.

it is difficult

Simple but very addictive. Great game!

Haxe represent! I enjoyed playing this, it reminded me of my first computer which had a typing game I used to love. I remember the word minimum was always my favourite to type :)

It's a well designed little game, perfectly formed.

Love how simple and fun this is.  I'll be back to practice my touch typing!

Pretty fun typing game! Got pretty stressed when running out of rails. Bonus points for the C64 font :)

Whoa! Thanks for your comment! I impressed how precisely you ID'd this 8x8 font :D
