Was the resolution a challenge?
HUD can be a challenge at this resolution as well as deciding where to spawn enemies and how fast they move. 1 pixel per frame at this resolution doesn't give much leeway to the player!
What did you learn?
Don't leave making levels to the night before submission.

art is great, good music and sounds. the platforming felt off sometimes i could hit the platform, sometimes i felt i should hit it but i wasnt. anyways a nice complete package, i loved playing it
Really nice and polished game, I enjoyed every moment. Would love to see some more levels and bosses. Keep up the good work! :)
Good graphic feel like gameboy color. It will be better if the game had shuriken or ninjustu.
I beat the boss! \o/ those fireballs are the perfect interval of difficulty to dodge. The hardest bit was that red ninja following on the small platforms ^^ great game!
Decent entry with all the traditional features of a platformer. The gameplay was straightforward but the red enemy was difficult to deal with. All round good effort.
This is awesome, I had a lot of fun playing it! The art is great, I really liked the background parallax. The platforming was tight and the levels had a good difficulty curve. I would have enjoyed more levels but I can definitely relate to leaving level making for the last few hours of a game jam! Very cool game!
I like it a lot, the wall jump works great, i think that level 3 does have some cheap kills that get you kill like double red ninjas at a risk or the fact that you cant know if there is a blue ninja that is going to push you over the edge in some jumps.
That's fair. I did go slightly old-school in an attempt to make the game last longer (i.e., make it unfair for the player so they have to try many times :))
Cool game! I think you did a good job building up the difficulty!
Great level design. Loved the responsive controls and variety of enemies.
I loved it! Just about the perfect size for a jam game, in my opinion, with solid and fun mechanics, multiple enemy types, and even a boss fight (which I'm really jealous of, by the way, it was the biggest thing I wanted in mine that I didn't have time for). I thought it felt great to play, and the wall jumping and climbing was really clean and satisfying.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing all the way through :)
Controls well and has a great difficulty curve. Levels are clearly designed with intention. Nicely done!
Pretty cool little game! The red ninja was surprisingly hard to deal with at first :P but overall was pretty fun
Yeah I wanted the player to be initially taken aback by how capable and relentless the red ninja was, so I'm glad it worked! Thanks for playing :)
Great fun game with decent mechanics, actually well balanced. Pressing space crashes the game though
Thanks for the kind words.
That's a shame, I thought I'd removed that from the web build. I'll add a note to the page not to press it. thanks for mentioning it.
