Lessons
I learned about tiny fonts and how hard it is to represent information with so few pixels. I did find some solutions for small problems I've had in my past games.

That was fun! Looked great, this was a well-executed tower defense (I thought the difficulty curve was good - I had a hard time at the start but afterwards managed nicely).

Ah, I always love a good Tower Defence! Fantastic!

The instruction image is pretty hard to read, with black stylised text on dark background. Fun though!

Took a minute to understand everything but once I did this was super fun. Everything was well balanced and the enemies never felt unfair.

I am now the Spooky CEO. As my first act in office, we will be replacing all Starbucks locations with Spirit Halloween—

This was fun. There's something of a steep learning curve but the detailed game page really made things clear. The monster progression seemed totally reasonable—I wasn't managing to kill most of the witches(?) but they also weren't spawning in numbers great enough to cause a fail.

Placement in build mode is maybe a smidge hinky, something about your character not being gridlocked but the buildables are, perhaps, which is just exacerbated by the granularity of a 64x64 resolution. Especially with being able to ignore collision during build mode, it wasn't a huge problem.

I did notice something very odd, sometimes coins seemed to have collision? When they were piled up in the later levels, at least, I noticed some issues with running *into* them rather than *through* and picking them up, had to ram poor Edgar's face into them a few times.

(And this is maybe a weird detail to praise but I really liked the path-showing effect. I dunno. Something about it is just nice.)

The character design is wonderful. Oh! And the cutscene at the end was delightful!

Overall, spooky and good.

Just played Spooky Tower! The game was super fun! I think a tutorial in the game would be super helpful! Awesome job!

Game was pog. Super easy. I beat it without any issues. Honestly the monsters should be a little more difficult probably. The instruction page you made was super helpful.

Nice game! I like the pixel art and Halloween vibe here. I didn't understand what most of the placeable blocks do. I noticed that you have to create a maze to funnel the enemies similar to a tower defense game. I also think there are some balancing issues, because I was never able to kill an enemy or get any coins. Overall, it seems like there is a lot going on here gameplay wise. I recommend gradually introducing placeable blocks and abilities to help onboard players. Good job with this submission!
