Very polished game. Love the graphics and animations :) Enjoyed it a lot
Really like it! It's a polished entry. Big plus for making it in your own engine, keep it up :)
Cool graphics and interesting gameplay mechanics! Good job!
Nice charging mechanic and smooth movements
Very fun game. Nice title screen, the character animations look smooth (that knight is awesome), fire and water effects look great. Each enemy offers enough variety to be conquered differently. The music stops after a fixed amount of time and SFX would be a nice touch. Overall, great job!
I really liked your animations and the element-gaining. The fast monster was a bit annoying, but primarily because it was out-of-screen most of the time. :)
Interesting game - would love to see this developed further! Love the graphics!
I got to 30, that's probably bad. :P
I like the concept and the graphics but it's really lacking in sound effects, it feels like the sort of fast/reaction-based game that would benefit from sound as feedback.
Awesome, a really good mechanic this one about charge power, a litle bit difficult to fight against the enemies because they appear suddenly.
Very cool!
This was really fun... music was good, animations and gameplay felt good
Really fun and a great launch title for the Super Jamicon. Would love to see the enemies react more to being hit, jumping up like Contra etc.
Classic 64 bit feel to all the art and sound. Well done! And of course the concept. So simple yet can be expanded into many interesting avenues. I'm interested to see where you take it.
The attack mechanic, I loved it!
Haha, the draining/releasing magic is really interesting...
The combat is easy to understand and challenging enough.
The BGM is good, but repetitive, and the lack of SFX makes it boring.
ps: I tried this on Google Chrome 49 (Windows 10) and the "console" glitched hard (zooming out) and was impossible to play.
Changing to Firefox solved the problem.
Thanks everyone.
This was the first time I tried a 16 color constrained palette Stuart, so I'm doubly glad you enjoyed the graphics.
I didn't get around to sound effects before the deadline, so I'll not add them now, but I will circle back after judging and pop something in. It's running in Super Jamicom, a free 16 bit game jam online IDE I'm still in the middle of writing, which is still missing audio tech; this'll be a good excuse to dogfood the new tools.
Elegantly done graphics. I didn't realise for quite some time that you can jump :) Sound effects would be good to go along with the music, perhaps?
ha, very fun to play, cool game
Nice aesthetic! The big guy always kicked my ass :)
Very interesting mechanics! I like the idea a lot!
