How does your game fit the theme "Unconventional Means"?
The mean you place your turrets is quite unconventional

The sound for when a turret is shooting is just top notch!
God I love a good tower defence. Especially with a twist like this. Had a lot of fun with this
Very clever idea! It was fun to play with! If you improve the movement and the controls, that could be an amazing game! ^^
Really cool idea having the towers behave like snooker balls and the battleground be a snooker table. A lot of people have left a comment about the controls and I would have to agree, and I think this game unfortunately suffers a bit from not enough level design: I ended up just shooting the turrets off in any direction and it didn't seem to affect the gameplay much. Overall I really like the idea, and I hope you properly flesh it out after the jam!
one of my favorite games
Amazing idea! Really fun to play and overall very polished. The only thing was, as others have pointed out, it was a little hard to aim because of the camera angle. Other than that, there's really nothing bad with it.
Great entry :)
This is such a cool idea -love it!! Was really fun to play -great work! :D
The mechanic was so well defined, so solid, that i had to play it twice! It was a fun game
I liked the angle, it focused the sight the important information, the closest enemies, the others were in the peripheral
The music isnt extraordinary, plus also not annoying!
I liked prety much all of it, good game
I would rate you 6 stars to originality, you reinvented the tower defence genre! But it has a big problem with the camera position, it makes it too difficult to aim.
Really love the idea! Great game! I would love to see an update with different turrets and enemy types in the future! Great work!
Very creative and fun game!
Good job! You had a nice idea on this one. My only issue is that it is a little bit difficult to aim properly and it would be nice if you could control the power of the shots instead of it being random but I had fun. Keep up the good work!
This was a very creative game!! pool and a tower defense game i was presently surprised. Well done!!!
Super creative concept that actually almost works a bit too well. This idea could be expended into something amazing. I highly recommend exploring the idea further. But for the jam this is perfectly suitable and I really enjoyed playing!
flawless 9.9/10!
Amazing concept, beutifully executed, a perfect demo for a game jam. I got to 61% on the difficulty scale and i bet i could reach about 70% if i tried a few more times.
5/5. You did A LOT of things right. I like how you can collide with enemies to kill them off the swing. and how the turrets stay around and you can see how many shots are left. This leads to interesting statergies, such as creating lines of turrets for defenense, or leaving the lane more open for collision kills. So much skill expression in just the first level!
The difficulty scale is pretty decent as is, though I would look into lowering it just a little bit. As other have stated, theres a lot you can do with this to make it a full fleged game, such as buying better turrets.
The base gameplay loop is so fun and original, that you have a lot of room for expansion. I really like the sounds as well, the music / sfx blend was nice where sfx didn't cancel out the music. The pews, are genuinlly fun sfx, surprised you found something that fits so well in such a short amount of time.
I didn't expect for this mechanic to be as fun as it is. The difficulty curve, friction, and turret fire speed and range are just right. The take on the theme for this game is great. There is a lot of potential for this concept, such as purchasing better towers to launch or changing the playing field to include slopes or obstacles. The ability to change the camera angle is one addition that would be great as well. Well done!
I myself never made it past 60% difficulty... But now that I said it, CHALLENGE IS OUT!
63%!!
