Really liked the idea of this one, though the movement felt very unfair/challenging at times. Graphics were simple but effective, though it could have done with some audio to enhance the experience. Overall pretty good game!

How does your game fit the theme "Unconventional Means"?
The movement is unconventional for platformers and it mos made for thig game jam

I love the graphics and color, the game is fun, but i found it particularly difficult and didn't finish it.
Well done!
Clever idea, fun game! Loved the siplist art style! Some sound and particles could add to the feel, but great job! ^^
This is a lot of fun and the physics feel pretty good. Nice Work.
I liked the story and the game mechanic, but it's a bit too difficult.
Thanks a lot, I didn't really plan to make any story for a 2D platformer, but you are the second person to mention it so it probably was worth the 2 minutes of figuring out a reason why you can't walk. Complaints about the difficulty aren't uncommon so I can't really blame it on anybody other than me. I have to learn that when I make the game and it feels easy it probably isn't easy for people that play it for the first time.
Good game! Gameplay is well done and the art style is good. It's shame that it doesn't use any audio.
Thanks for the feedback both about the gameplay and the art style. I'm kind of new to making pixel art for my games by my self and reading that so many people liked it makes it sound like a not as bad idea as a thought. This leaves the audio, which is absolutely the field that I'm the worst at, But I will probably at least try to add some SFX
Happy to hear that you found it enjoyable. Thanks to my poor time management I didn't really put that much time into polishing the min mechanic, but I will hopefully learn to do things better as time passes. Restarting the level after death didn't really come to me while developing, but in retrospect, I should have made it that way.
Thanks a lot for the feedback really every little thing keeps me going in this.
Thanks for the feedback, the part about making it into a mobile game made me think about it, I could probably make at least a prototype for a mobile version. Unfortionetly I didn't have enough time to fix all the bugs with the hook, I Will try to fix it all and upload a fixed version. With the fixed bugs I really should add at least some SFX, but at this time it's my weakest side so it would probably take too long during the jam.
Thanks again for the support everything positive really keeps me doing what I love.
Interesting idea, the hook lacks a bit of responsiveness and speed which makes the final levels more difficult than they should be. I felt that the difficulty curve was good throughout the game otherwise. I really liked the art style as well. Good work!
Happy to hear that you enjoyed it and that you liked the art style, I'm currently kind of new to pixel art and art in general, but hearing that so many people like it makes me think that I am not as bad at it as a thought. And about the hook, I wasn't planning on changing the hook's speed only to fix the few bugs that make the hook misfunction, but I will look into it if it will help.
The game should auto-reset when I die. That's it, that's my only complaint. The minimalist art style, the levels, and the story (lmao) are otherwise amazing. Well done.
I'm sorry that I wasn't able to make it easier. It's my first time making a level based game where the difficulty depends on them. I Will try to keep this in mind for other games, but I still hope you enjoyed it nonetheless. Thanks for the feedback every word helps me so much to keep pursuing this dream.
