Looks like a good start for a game.

I enjoyed the flavor text in many of the city locations.

The gameplay seems interesting for the arena battles.  The ability to control your 'launch point' is a neat twist.

I look forward to seeing what the developers add!

I ran in to a couple of problems:

- Switching resolution in the web version caused the game to freeze. I had to reload and revert the resolution to get the game to work.

- Performance in the 3d arena was poor overall. I'm running an i5 with integrated graphics though so that's probably a factor.

- Exit didn't exit the game. It just froze.

None of these were game breaking though so I was able to explore the current content.

Interesting pokemon-esque style game with active battling. Fullscreen gets reset every screen. Might be able to just click the Fullscreen button on the Itch Gamepage instead to allow Fullscreen. Wasn't sure what to do after the first battle or if there was more content. I like the concept that the start location can be controlled by the cannon at the beginning of battle.

Updated the web version (only) to preload particle systems. There were multiple comments about lag and freezing in the 3D content, this change should fix that.

Fun and already fully-formed, great work! There seems to be a minor issue occasionally when firing a weapon in the arena setting, at least on my machine, it pauses and then the camera control goes haywire, but like everyone else has said, the writing is great and the music is funky as well!

A lot of flavour text that is cute and adds character! A nice mix of 2D and 3D with the JRPG esque overworld and third person shooter style battles. Probably a problem on my end, but the 3D battles froze for a short while everytime I shot.

I loved the dialogue.

Brilliant writing 😆

Truly enjoyed the attention to detail, the controls work well too and gameplay loop is quite fun, well done!

Some interesting ideas in this, I think I got as far as I can? I really like the design of the Sheath mech, like a bipedal Nintendo Rob the Robot. Also your dad in the game is a horrible man haha.

Yep! You saw most things, there's just a few stray dialogue things on the red light posts, one door in the bottom section and the sticky note on the car that you missed! Thanks for playing and hosting the jam :)

Had fun with the writing, had me going all around searching for more lore.  Nice start on the arena as well

Some of the writing was actually brilliant, art in the intro sequence was cute!
I can see where you were going with the arena, launch cannon was a neat mechanic.
Just wish there was more of it

There were plans for a lot more to start, but estimating the right amount of work for two weeks is hard...
