Fun Armored Core Missing Link. Was fun to float around and fire a ton of bullets from a minigun. Gun worked pretty well and was able to see the bullets very well. Might want to increase gravity a bit, while I did enjoy floating around, trying to get back to the ground took awhile. Would love to see additional weapons and enemies. I accidently found out I was supposed to trigger the tower orbs because I had to investigate and wonder if I could go up the towers. Some players might not have realized that and stopped early. Nice job on your first jam, looking forward to seeing more.

Very smooth gameplay and very much AC, no doubt about it. Really fun overall, only problem was that the melee would stop working sometimes but besides that, had no bugs or issues at all!

This  was one of my favorites! Great work with the movement, you can really feel the AC inspiration. I liked the gameplay and having an objective, the boss was also a really cool ending. Super impressed you managed to crank all that in in just 2 weeks. Some things I noted down while playing:

- Enemy projectiles. It would be sweet if they could predict their target location, so their shot lines up better. That way the player cannot just dash to the side and avoid all fire. It felt like a cheap way to play.

- I feel like enemies blinking when getting hit works well on the smaller enemies but it was too much on the gunship, was really hard to look at.

-  Some lock on missiles or secondary weapon would add so much here, the variation would really benefit the game.

Amazing work nonetheless!  Would love to see more of this

Thanks so much for the feedback! I agree with all of it.

Hey a fellow Armored core enjoyer! I imagine there's probably quite a few here though seeing how its a mecha themed jam and it being a prominent mecha franchise haha. Armored core was also one of my main inspirations with my project.

Defintely got an AC feel with the movement. I ran into a bug where the melee stopped working? No animation, but the sound effect still played. I feel like the combat could do with a lock on system, and more impact/feel with doing damage. But good considering this is your first attempt at a jam! (Idk if this is your first time making a game in general though).

I also like the surreal feel given by the environment and visuals, and the music.

Thank so much, Armored Core was pretty much my only exposure to mech games as a youngin and I figured why not try to make a budget one lol. Yeah adding lock on and homing missiles was part of the original plan, along with some other things but with the time I had it would've stretched me too thin. The melee not working is interesting I'll definitely take a look!  I've made game before but never on a shorter time restraint so I learned a bunch.
