Hey great game! I felt immersed in the alien world, sounds and art were awesome. I got stuck fighting the boss but I had fun on my way there and will keep trying. For gameplay I would add respawning at full health (or some way to restore health because I couldn't find any) and the ability to shoot in an upper diagonal. I notice when you press down in the air you shoot diagonally down, and pressing up is just straight up. Upper diagonal aiming would make the various floating enemies much easier to handle. Got a lot of potential and I would love to see the game completed.

Stuck respawning after the boss with 3 health. Was this intentional and is there substantially more content after this point? Please advise--I may not feel I'm able to rate game fairly with present state of affairs or be up to replaying it unless I know what I'm replaying for.
To be clear the game is really pretty and plays decently. But if I have any constructive criticism so far:
* Make the jump slightly floatier
* Never stick the player with a low-health re-spawn if you have an alternative. It just isn't fun. Normies (including me) will probably take enough damage in this one that you can probably just give them all their health back.
NP. Since I know I'm not missing a ton, I'll go ahead and leave an actual rating with reasoning on each category.
This one is 4's across the board except enjoyment which is a 3.
Enjoyment 3/5: It's not necessarily a technical thing I can put my finger on (I think it's related to how quick the jump feels) but it didn't quite nail it for me. A few extra quality of life tweaks would have gone a ways
Execution 4/5: Pretty solid overall. Not a lot of glitchiness. Respawn choice, at risk of harping on it a bit, deserves a mention here, though the map feels pretty good..
Sensory 4/5: A feast for the eyes, even with the main character seeming to be in a bit more of a draft state, and my ears didn't feel so bad about it either.
Metroidvania 4/5: Getting the job done so far from the Metroid side of the genre.
wow the artsyle. It is very commendable that you took the time to create such a beatiful looking game. I really liked how coherent every piece of item is put into the game. Well done^^
Super polished great entry. First of all, graphic design is amazing, all looks beatiful and gives retro vibe, especially with the boss with stone hands, it felt kinda nostalgic;) I am amazed how pro ypur entry looks and feel, bloody good job!
I struggled a bit with jumping, it was to fast for me, and because of that I was dying a lot, but i see a lot of games has this kind of jump implemented so i guess its just my personal preference :D If I need to point anything: would be good if you implement some indication after aquiring new skill. I wasn't aware when I got double jump, It took me some time to figure out I got it, and second thing, its good to close boss arena after fight begins, I was able to exploit a bit mr Stone Hands when I went right of the arena. He was just floating above me and I was able to end him quickly;)
I really appreciate you taking the time to finish the game. Unfortunately we did not manage to complete the game, that is why the sprite of the powers ups is not coherent with the rest of the game and there is no type of signage. We are missing many aspects of the game, the configuration, the item and weapon menus, adjusting the pause system, etc... due to time issues we have not been able to continue the game, but of course we want to finish it on both Android and PC (for now)
Really liked the art and sounds in this one! And the controls were smooth. Great job!
The style of the game is incredible. The control and launch of full-screen mode did not come out very well. But it really looks very beautiful.
Love the art style and music! I'm a huge fan of this kind of pixel art. The map looks really cool and there's a lot of metroidvania apsects!
I played for a while but I got to say that the shooting mechanic is very frustrating: many ennemies are really small and moving up and down while the player can shoot in only 3 directions. Sometimes, I had to spam small jumps to hit a target that is a bit above me...
This shooting thing makes the game quite difficult but I enjoyed it! Well done !
Graphics and Sound Effects are great. But I want to play it on full screen.
