Ok, I didn't get to play much yet because I needed to go ahead and rate, but this game is really cool already!
I will definitely play it more after the jam is over and see what all is in it.
From what I can see so far everything is quite well done for a jam entry and there is a lot to this game, even all of the menus and controls!
Great work!
Your game is very nice, The graphics are really simple and cool, the animations are pretty smooth, I like that it is long , I didn't finish it yet, super fun , keep it up !!
Good Entry! The movement and combat fell very good
That was a great entry, it started off establishing "yes this is going to be Metroidvania" but then it threw in some really cool combo powers. It all felt really solid to play. Well done!
Thanks for playing melody song I hope u liked it there will be more updates :-)
great game overall, I reached the mossy town :3
Nice job that was the last level ...and thank for playing the game if you have any feedback let me hear it : D
Excellent game!
Wow, you nailed, congratulations, I would like to see more. Are you going to keep working on this game?
Cheers!
PS: try to find the sequence break in our game :D
This was so simplistically well put together. I like the movement, and it had game-pad support. The "HollowKnight"-like character art was not very original but it worked, and overall I just like the game-play and how things were set up. 4.8 for this one. I don't really have anything negative to say about this. Its fun and simple and I enjoyed it
Check out chick-magnet is still being worked on. The WebGL is more up to date that the downloable one, but wasn't included in the Jam.
Nice work recreating some of the Hollow Knight functions! The feedback was very punchy when striking enemies and the movement mechanics were pretty smooth. Nice touches with things like the character glow too. Some issues with things like screen size, but a good base to build and learn from! Nice work with the enemy coding too!
thanks for your feedback..I will fix the screen size issues
Finally, Silksong. I really liked the juice in this game, the sounds and hit stun made it feel impactful! I thought the first few times I saw this background rock that it was a collision I could jump on though. Once I learned I didn't do it again but can be confusing at first! Great job!
Hello matt Thanks for playing the game. I will keep in mind and fix the block . And thanks for Enjoy it.
Controls and attack effects are great. reminds me of "dead cells". Also update how the game will look on browser. set it to 1280x720 or set it to auto update
Thanks zendasian :D I will definitely fix that thanks.
man i can't belive i just played silksong before anyone else!!!! (i like the graphics btw)
After using the lifeblood needle, the player wouldn't react to any control inputs anymore and just stand there.
Aside from that, you nailed the Hollow Knight movement and fighting. Are those the original Hollow Knight sounds of Silk when you use special abilities?
Good job
Ok I will check that bug ...but thanks for playing melody song I'm glad you enjoyed it : )
Very nice game! Cool graphics. Also on my browser the game is zoomed, I had to scroll to the bottom right and then I was able to go full screen. Maybe you can adjust the size of the screen in the settings of the game, to make the game a better experience. Overall, good job!
i don't know if it was a problem with my browser but the game was too zoomed in so it was difficult to play. But what i managed to see was really cool, controlling the character and hitting enemies felt super satisfying
