Hey neighbour!
Hello!!
This was really enjoyable! The gameplay was easy to grasp, and the graphics/music definitely made it unique. There were a few, uh, bugs I think I found while playing though. The first was that after shooting my arrow, I could just change zones and I would have it again - no need to go pick it up if I'm trying to hit other enemies. The other happens when on the tall grass, which makes you slow, but if you change zones and then back it doesn't seem to slow you down. Otherwise I thought this was a solid entry. Nice work!
Thanks a lot for the feedback!
I will fix those ASAP!
EDIT: those bugs should be fixed now!
Very nice entry! Could have used a tad more polish on the actually bow attack, but I'm a huge fan of the artwork.
Would have been nice to have some indication as to where the arrow is. It's easy to lose it in the two color palette (Especially when it goes out of your screen).
Thanks for playing!
I just updated the game and fixed the arrow problem :D
Where did the game go? I can't seem to even be able to load your profile anymore.
Hmm, weird?
It works just fine for me.
Try this link, see if it works

That was super weird. Your profile and everything gave a 404 but it's back now. Will play and rate shortly
Really fun use of the limitation! Reminded me a lot of Titan Souls!
The fighting system was inspired by it, you got me there!
Nice job! this was really well but together and I loved the world and graphics you made here! I especially liked the little previews that show upgrades that make me want to explore and find the paths to those places! There were a few times though where I lost track of my arrow and took me a bit of backtracking to find, also after collecting all bow upgrades I wasn't able to shoot my arrow for some reason. Other then that however, this was an awesome game and you guys did great!!!
I thought about recharging the player arrow once you leave a “room” but I didn't do it, I will look into it and see what I can do!
Yeah, I noticed this bug after the jam, and it's because there is a grace period where when you charge the arrow, it takes 0.5s before you can shoot, and if you collect all the bow upgrades the maximum charge time is 0.5s, sorry!
Thanks for playing and for the feedback!
The fighting mechanics are fun with the arrow bounce, although it is very easy to run past enemies. I also like the exploration a lot! Wish you had implemented that boss you mentioned but yeah time limits are ~limiting~ Overall great job!
Thanks for playing!
I must agree with the others, just the exploration feature is the best of this one. Very well presented and overall amazing result for a weekend!
Thanks for playing!
Really glad ypu liked it :D
Very fun game! one thing I think could be improved upon is the fact that killing enemies seems very pointless and running past them basically always feels easier, but the exploration was very cool. perhaps inspired by minit? Also as others have said the missing boss feels a bit anticlimactic. The dash also feels very strange and unexplained, maybe a bit too fast. Really enjoyed it tho!
I actually had the feeling that killing enemies is pointless, but since I didn't have much time I decided it would be just fine to make them drop health, I will see what I can improve upon that.
The exploration is indeed inspired by Minit and Zelda:Link's Awakening XD
i also kind of found the dash being weird, but since I added it in a rush just to give more mobility for the player I didn't think much of it, fun fact I added the dash very early and forgot about it, then I remember “oh I have a dash…”, I definitely have to fine tone it later tho.
Thanks a lot for playing and the feedback!
I liked pretty much everything about it but I honestly was expecting to fight some boss at the end or something with all the power ups I collected on the way. Overall a great game and cool art style too, I'm a big fan of 1-bit games.
yeah the boss was cut due to time, i kinda made the game build towards a boss at the end, it's kind of underwhelming when you onow there isn't, sorry!
Although i will add a boss in the future!
Thanks for playing!
I had a lot of fun exploring - was a cool concept and well presented :)
Could have done with more of a justification for collecting the power-ups, but it was impressive how much you managed to pack in to a weekend of work!
Thanks for playing!
Actually, the power ups weren't part of the plan at the beginning, so I didn't get to them till late in development.
Plus i kind of placed secrets around as I like so even if you didn't find them all you can find a couple ones here or there, I just added the final screen, so people would know if they got everything or not, something for the completionests out there :)
I really love the way you've used the limitation! The exploration aspect of the game is also really fun, there's a surprising amount of details you've added in just 3 days. Some of the controls are a bit finnicky though, for instance, RMB for dash didn't seem to want to work. But other than that, I really enjoyed it!! :]
Hey, thanks for playing!
I actually knew about the right RMB problem and i forgot to fix it, sorry!
The idea is quite simple but effective, the game encourages you to explore everything, i would have loved to fight a really strong boss at the end but i understand 3 days is not enought for that kind of details.
The gameplay is a bit slow but i love the game, good job!
i was planning for a boss fight at the end actually but i couldn't do it in time, although I'm probably going to add it later anyways.
Thanks for playing!
The one arrow idea was great! I loved the art too!
