Got 393 kills! (the laser is the absolute beast haha)
Very interesting take on the limitation, not because of the concept itself, but in the way that it was done. Getting blasted away because of the recoil, shooting yourself with a bullet that wraps around the screen and frying yourself accidentally because you don't know how to control the laser was incredibly fun.
I would keep trying again and again because I felt responsible for each of my own deaths (meaning I could try again and do better, right? haha)
When I started playing I laughed so hard because I thought the character was a gun (like a turret), and when I saw it jumping I said "what? It's a jumping gun?". Then after some time I noticed that there was a character holding the weapons lol.
The palette and art overall are super good. The way the colors change when you switch weapons reminded me of older atari games that swapped palettes around a lot. I don't have any extra feedback, maybe showing the current score while you play would be neat, but other than that, the game is really solid, and the music is a blast. Excellent job!

Very fun to play! Visuals are spectacular! Got up to 277 kills, but I know I could do better
Very fluid movement and gunplay, everything feels fun to shoot and has its own way of changing the game.
Shooting the weapons for the first time is really fun, thinking "oh what is this one going to do?". Would benefit a lot if there were a lot of other weapons to constantly be having to adjust your playstyle.
Shotgun seemed to make me focus on shooting only upwards or downwards, since sideways was dangerous to shooting myself off the edge. Was good at clearing out guys on the ground and in groups, but falls when there are a lot of enemies.
The Rifle was probably the best one game wise, since when I focused, I would try to make sure I hit all my shots with the fewest bullets possible, so then I wouldn't have to dodge as many coming back across the screen. But it was hard to fight just holding it down to make sure I hit guys lol. Also struggles against guys on the ground, since then you'll be shooting right along the ground back at yourself.
The Laser is obviously the strongest, maybe it was meant to be like "Oh sweet I got the laser" Since I found that you could simply just hold it down and mow down enemies as they spawned and get tons of kills, which was satisfying. Although, I think it took away from the core of the game, since then I would just try to shoot out the other two guns as quickly as possible (often towards nothing) just so I could cycle back to the laser to get kills.
Would definitely benefit from a menu screen, being thrown right in can take some people off guard.

I'm going to write a thorough review about this, which already shows that this is one of the best games that I have played this jam.

The good:
When I started playing, I had read the first sentence of the description, yet I knew what I had to do. The limitation is used greatly and diversely. All guns have different play stiles and took a minute to figure out.
The bad:
The movement felt a bit weird and a jump would have been nice.
The ugly:
There is none because the art is beautiful yet simple.

Lastly, I just want to say that I hope that this gets expanded with a couple more guns.
art is really good, the guns and enemies are engaging, i could see this being a full release if you keep adding to it!

I really like this one. Nice visuals, sound and concept. 252 kills. I couldn't quite understand why the shotgun sometimes sent me much further than other times
186 Kills, i like! was quiet difficult! especially the bullets coming from the other side of the screen. great work on this! a leaderboard would make this amazing!
