A solid idea that's maybe muddled a bit by the controls. I liked the concept, but for the kind of precision the time limit and level design requires, the controls aren't snappy enough. Specifically, the slow acceleration made it difficult to make longer jumps onto precise points. For this game, I'd have liked to see controls that respond instantly to my inputs for moment-to-moment corrections.

Also, the camera moved a bit too directly with the character's movements, creating a bit of a jarring effect, particularly with jumping. Some y buffer would probably help a lot.

Overall, I think this could be very fun with more sensitive controls.

The game has a good idea. I didn’t really like the sounds due to the fact that it is louder than the music in the background, and I also didn’t really like the graphics because sometimes it’s hard to distinguish where something is. But I liked everything else)

Awesome game. Graphics and sound were on point! Great Submission

Lovely game. The background music feels so familiar somehow.

Original idea)

Please give my game a try if you have some time!

Developer

Very cool graphics and very beautiful lvl! Fast and very skill-demanding game! great job

Loved the fast gameplay, speedrunning the levels was pretty fun. Though I think it could've incorporated the limitation or theme more. Nice game!

Developer

Honsetly the limitation or theme didn't really bring me any good ideas this time around... but thanks!

Submitted

Yeah, that happens. What matters is making a fun game, which you def nailed.

Hello,

Great game, with beautifull art style, good music and great sound effects. I've apreciated the level select option.

Have a nice day.

Submitted

Nice! Similar to the idea I went with but yours has much more polish!

The artwork and music/sfx were really good, The controls were good but at times felt a bit on ice, The camera too moved a bit too much, but not really broke the game.
Good job!

Good

The idea and the presentation are both beautiful. The only thing that bugged me a bit was how wanky the camera was sometimes when platforming fast. It bounced around a bit too much for my liking.

Submitted

Solid mechanic beautifully implemented :D

Developer

Thanks!

Sonic with a timer! Kinda wish there was less precision platforming but I love the art.

I like the artwork used! Good work. I found the spikes to be a tad bit sensitive, i touch the base by like one pixel and i die. Time limit was a bit, unsure of? i wasnt aware of the importance until i died.

Other then that, good work, keep it up! has great potential.

I know I commented on Twitter but thought I'd add here!

Game feels smooth and polished, graphically it looks so good. I love the idea of the bomb being inside of him.

Only thing that I would have liked to see would be a 'reason' for the bomb being de-activated/diffused? Like if Rob reaches the 'Exit', then there's a little animation where the bomb gets extracted or something?

Thanks for the comment!

However... i didn't have enough time to do minor animation stuff unfortunetly... maybe if i where to update the game, i would improve some flaws of the game.
