Very fun and well polished, I wonder if there was a button to reset the level that I couldn't find because I accidentaly softlocked myself twice and didn't want to start from scratch again.

Developer

Ah, when u hit the flag before the checkpoint, forgot to put a condition on the disappearing part, sorry for making ur experience so garbage... thanks for playing anyway :)

Submitted

The levels were still fun, it was not garbage at all!

Nice game! I'd probably play this on my phone on the train if it was available on mobile. The UX isn't optimal but the fun of the game and the Dude Perfect factor makes up for it.

I think the placement of the string could be improved by setting the endpoint when the user clicks down the mouse button and showing a "ghost" of the resulting string when the mouse button is held down. Then when the mouse button is released the ghost line is created. (idk if that made sense, but the main point is that it could be more intuitive)

Overall, though, very fun game! Best one so far! Also, props for not making a spider-based game :)

Developer(+1)

The string placement really could be better, and it could have been so simple as well... but I spent too much time on art, and redundant features. And I'm aware of the ui problems, I forgot to set it up will all platforms in mine, my last minute changes to make it work didn't work the best ;-;

Thanks for playing and your feedback! :D

Good game! I'm impressed by all the work that you have done in only 72 hours!

Developer

I spent more time improving my art and music skills rather than actually playing the game I believe :)

The only new mechanic I tried out in this game was the strings themselves.  Thank you! :D

This game is great - easy to learn and lots of fun to play! This game is great - easy to learn and lots of fun to play!

Thanks! :)

Really good game! I wanted to keep playing, unfortunately I collected a flag before a checkpoint and softlocked myself! Regardless, well done!

Developer

My friend did that lmao, although I couldn't bother, it was a good two hours after the ending.

Thanks for playing :)

Liked the concept and the art just catches the Kurzgesagt style perfectly, though would like a reset level button since it got frustrating having to delete strings one by one.
overall nice game

Developer

It was planned, Spent too much time on the wrong things, Pc crashed once, no time, you get the jist.

Thanks for playing :D

Maybe It's my laptop, but the game is zoomed in so that I can barely click the GUI. Otherwise, It very clean and catches the Kurzgesagt artstyle perfectly. Keep up the good work.

Developer(+1)

yeaaa, sorry about that, I did say in descripting, other aspect ratios may not work. I was spending so much time on gameplay and polish that I completely forgot about getting the game to actually work on all platforms.

Thanks a lot! :)

Very polished game in so small time frame.

Developer

Thank you! I know how important user experience is, being an avid gamer myself... although I didn't have time for a lot of the things I wanted to improve on....

Thanks, I appreciate it :D

okay but

(what do i say ._.)

Developer(+1)

give your honest opinion?

Really fun game. There does seem to be a bug where if you had one string type selected and you moved to a level where it was not allowed, you could still use it.

Developer (1 edit)

This has already been reported.  I thought I fixed that one glitch, bbut seems not...

thanks though :)

Very neat design, very polished! Getting the ball to a position higher up than the spawn position is a little frustrating tho.

Developer(+1)

I've found that soing that is slightly difficult, because there is no pointers that says that that each string should be slightly lower than the last. Thought that was common knowledge until my friend my friend tried it out. I wanted to do a better system but I really didn't have the time.

Thanks tho :)

Maaan, this game really got me to think, I really liked your game, the polishing you did is so good!

Developer

Thanks :)

The game is cool, I guess the only thing annoyed me is the part when I need to delete some string, I need to jam my rmb just to delete one string, otherwise really nice game!

Developer(+1)

everyone is saying that, although the delete mechanic is much more complicated than you think...

thanks tho :)

no problem, it is still impressive for 3 days, I have no idea how you bend the line and make it as physical object, good job!

Submitted

I found the mechanics very interesting, I like games that let you solve the problem in different ways. I for example, ended up using more the dots than the lines haha. And I had random solutions like the one below that entertained me.

some personal suggestions:

* add more music, it gets a bit repetitive over time.

* allow drawing the line convex or concave

* add a button to reset the phase, it gets a bit tedious to have to remove a wrong solution every 1 in 1.

* increase the click area to erase the lines, to make it easier to click.

* check if the processing influences the physics, because I was going to record the gameplay, and with OBS on, get different results.

Thanks for the game, and congratulations.

Physics would not be different upon each attempt. Unity physics is done on a fixed timestep, if it is different, that would be a physics bugs for unity. (I didn't have the time to switch to havok either so I didn't bother). I was actally planning on doing everything u suggest, but I spent to much time figuring out line renderers, if I ever do this again, I'll likely be able to do much more. Thanks for the feedback :)

Absolutely ordinary casual game, not bad and not good, just typical, there are many of them on the play market.

Developer

an honest reply for once. Yea, I get you, adter development I realised how generic this game was it lacked quite a few features I was hoping to add, but oh well... Thanks for playing :)

Very entertaining puzzler, played for more than 15 minutes.

Well done!

Developer

I bet thats higher than any other game :)

besides the mini pirate game thing, that's just addictive :P

Submitted(+1)

Agree!
Might be my longest as well so far :D

It's a fun game. There are minor annoyances like trying to remove strings but not being able because you are 1 pixel off and not having an undo button.

I liked it tho, it's a great game for only having 72 hours to make it.

Developer

thx

Very fun puzzle game, some puzzles seem way more difficult than others but that's probably just me. Good Job!

Developer

thanks!

Submitted(+1)

I have nothing to add, this game is just perfect! Well done!

tyms :)

Very fun and neat game. A button to remove all placed lines would have been nice.

Also I managed to place yellow lines in the level that only allows greens:

seems that you can place the last thing that was selected from the previous level.

The game is very polished and well made nonetheless. Good job.

Developer(+1)

thanks, and thanks for the heads up :)

although I won't fix it, it isn't a game jam game I'm interested in improving upon.
