Very fun and unique concept! It was certainly challenging, but that added to the experience. Great job!

This game has lot of potential. Perhaps as a zero gravity Metroidvania. Good stuff.

Real cool concept for the jam! The controls were a little difficult for me but being able to form your own path through the level was really fun!

Very nice game I loved playing it, and you included a video as well which helps to understand game mechanics. Can you play my game and tell me how it is?

great game. great presentation and story. but controls was hard to handle for me

the concept is top tier, one of my favorites of the jam. using the webs was unintuitive since the webs don’t seem to originate from the spider and the light wall/dark wall thing wasn’t explained in game. art was really clean as well, i can tell there’s a really good 2d physics-style puzzler here if you make the web use clearer and a bit more consistent/less frustrating.

awesome job and thank you for sharing!

A cool game, had a bit touble shooting the webs, but overall really enjoyable.
Well done!

At first the controls seemed very hard and not responsive but after I realized you can only extend webs from the light gray walls it was very straight forward. I actually managed to reach the escape pod. In the final I just jumped right through all the mess in the middle straight to the pod and very luckly didn't get hit by any of the saws =D

Just one small complaint is that restarting the level should have been allowed before reaching that checkpoint:

Because I kept making huge unfixable messes there (can't remove the strings behind the crate holding it back) and everytime I had to restart the game since "R" doesn't work yet.

Very good and fun game overall. Well done.

Developer

Yeah, I guess that's what I forgot to teach. Regarding that section. Restarting there was not really possible. That restart button is very specific to that level. I did not expect you to get softlocked here.

The game looks very nice, the idea is very original. The only problem in my opinion is when you start it takes a long time to get out of the cage. But in general I like the game

Its a good ideia but unfortunately was very hard to understand how to properly shoot the webs. Love the pixel art. Nice work!

It's really difficult to play but I enjoyed the concept. It remember World Of Goo.

It looks nice and interesting, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get past the initial section. I just get stuck on a wall and I can't manage to shoot a web in a way that is useful.

Developer

There is a hidden “mechanic” where touching walls slows you down a lot. So I guess try flying away from walls(yes, you have some very slight control when in air).

As for the web shooting, remember that I do a raycast from player position, so your target needs to be visible from there, and not on the web you are standing on.

This has one of the more advanced mechanics I have seen among the entries yet.

I enjoyed your level design but I just could not do the first level the web mechanics just would not work for me, maybe it was me just being bad lol

Developer

Did you try aiming the start away from the player? Aiming at the web you are standing does not work currently.

Really intresting concept, but implementation... Your game need some in-game tutorials.

Developer

I mean first level of the game is the tutorial essentially. What do you think I missed there?

Submitted

I was too lazy to explored how jump from cell to web at the first room and how attach web with each other.

Really cool game!

Really cool idea! It took me some time to get out of the start on the first level, but after that I really enjoyed it

Good idea! Nice graphics. Interesting gameplay.

However, I did not fully understand how the management of creating a web works.

Developer

Essentially you can only make webs from and to white surfaces. The web anchor thingy counts as white. When pointing make sure to point AWAY from your character, so for example try aiming at the wall rather than the web you are on.

Very polish game. Great concepts . The spider is a bit slow when first move out of the box at level 1 , but it worth to stay for a while .

cool concept, and the way the webs move, damn its smooth :p
