That was fun. Love the abduction sound effects, and the music is perfect. Cool game.

Nice game! I loved the red lights when you were too close to "bumping" the walls/ground.

Developer

Thanks! I was trying to make it so you can’t use the tractor beam just anywhere (light right on top of a human), so if you’re too high (yellow) or too low (red) you can’t use it.

Interesting concept and pretty good implementation, but there's still some work to be done.

Developer

Thank you, and you’re not wrong!

I really enjoyed this game! Really simple yet fun, one feedback I would give would more visual effects, and more levels XD

Nice job making this game!

Cool idea,  I agree with another commenter that the diegetic lights to indicate the status of the ship is a really nice touch. I also like how the humans are physics objects behind the scenes (and can hit things and rotate), it makes them feel more impactful than a simple Node2D and sprite. Nice job!

Developer

Ha, I just learned about the concept of “diegetic” in a book I’m readying - “The Game Music Handbook”

I never got around to making the humans walk or the tanks move. I think that would’ve made things a bit more interesting. And yes, more levels with challenging layouts/situations.

Thanks for giving it a go!

Nice concept!

I 100% agree with  Under Three I wish there were more levels

I liked the game, but I was upset that there were only two levels (really upset, no jokes)

It would also be cool if the guns dealt more damage, otherwise I didn't feel the challenge at all

Developer

There definitely should be more levels with guns in places that challenge you to navigate. Maybe even a timer so you are compelled to act quick.

Thanks for giving it a try!

I really enjoyed this one. Good use of lighting effects rather than UI to describe what was going on with the ship. I liked the transporter beam effect and the slow ascent of the humans fit the theme well.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for giving it a try! I didn’t make time to set up a UI so I decided to just put them on the ship :-D
