In a poetic twist, the fish has no water in his fishbowl. He must break out of his bowl to escape and eventually, maybe, find a new home. (One with water, preferably)

Very good. Well paced. Good facts and jokes. They simultaneously bring the player deeper into the game and also provide levity when failing continuously. Just all-round good stuff. Everything works together very well. Environments felt just a little bland visually. Touch of spice could have been used there, but overall... just real good stuff!
I found the level-design in your entry especially creative ! It was a lot of fun testing it out : loved the details attention like the fun facts about fishes as well : good luck on the jam !

Holy smoke! Everything felt so good, from the moovement to the momentum based crashing for gold fish, to even the little pun in each level. And the railgun at the end was just the cherry on top! My personnal best game from the jam so far!
