Incredible game. It succeeds in every aspect. Great use of limitation, gorgeus pixel art, good music/sound_design and of course fun gameplay.  Only things I can criticise a little is font (kinda hard to read) and movement (I'm not a fan of momentum based movement because It makes hard to control your character and throw bombs quickly where u want but I get that It's design choice and personal preference). Also I can not mention how polish and juicy this game is, It could be on steam already!

Outstanding game! Mechanics are fun and intuitive, the designs and art style fit perfectly with the game. My web browser did not like the web build at all, but i had absolutely no issue when i tried the downlodable version. Only criticism i can think of is the font is somewhat difficult to read at a glance, you need to squint a little to get it (but it's a common issue with super minimalistic pixel fonts).

originally it used a 5x5 font but it made all ui so much bigger than you'd think, so i had to scrap together a new 4x4 font that was similarish to the old one, ended up having to do like 7 iterations to get something usable enough

Oh, I totally get the struggle to squeeze the font to fit your ui needs! There are two beasts in me: one that thinks that a pixel art game should have a pixel art ui to make it blend seamlessly with the rest of the game, and one that thinks that pixel art fonts are cute but often not legible :(

Anyway, i was nitpicking, it was the only "flaw" i could think of

10/10 game!! I love a wave-based shooter and this is awesome. The quirky art style is super epic (especially the fun enemies) and the gameplay took a bit of getting used to but feels satisfying.

Danngg that was freaking AWESOME. Fantastic style to the animation and game feel. Love all the effects and particles. But beware, that can cause a lot of frame rate freezes that are pretty bad as you'll see in my video, it was pretty noticeable each time a new particle system was getting compiled.

This is a technical hurdle that is longstanding in the godot web builds, but luckily there are some workarounds but you just have to be careful, cus it can make the game freeze right at startup instead... and with a lot of particles it can trigger the "This page is unresponsive" error in a browser. (The particle compiling lag issue is really a deep rabbit hole let me tell you...)

Technical hiccups aside, the game played SOOOO smooth. Loved the roguelike elements! A few times they would spawn in a location I couldn't read or under a platform that I could not manage to jump on because the platform was right above. But I loved the customization.

 The music was absolutely perfect too, really made the game super engaging. REALLY GREAT WORK!

tried to reduce it by having a loading screen cover some particles, but i either didnt get them all or it just didnt? i dont know, i was sad about it but it doesnt seem to be nearly as bad on the downloadable versions

This reminds me of bob-omb blast, the best Mario Kart battle mode ever. Well done!

Great game, biggest trouble is that your jump and the bomb follow a very similar arch which can make it very tedious to aim at times. It's similar to how hammer bros throw in the same arch Mario has to jump to hit their head. Using semisolids is a great way to solve both these issues so great job, plus the slam obviously.

honestly didnt think about that but there is bomb height upgrades which probably help

Nice artstyle and smart addition of the upgrades to the main attack. Felt sometimes i’d lose sight of my char if i’d gone through a pipe since it just straight teleports you and there isn’t anything to like reshow the char to the player, the game is so good! :)
