I was not expected to be so emotionally  devastated today

Oh. My. God

The storytelling, the gameplay, the design, literally everything about this game is AMAZING.

The game is so trippy and cool! A very good game, with a great atmosphere! I haven't played much, but I already love it! I added it to my Interesting Games collection and will play later.

I like the game! It feels so unsettling. While the enviorment is in 3D, your character can only move left or right, which makes me feel very trapped; it really adds to the atmosphere. And while Mr. Wood's house is creepy, I'd argue that the main character's house is even creepier. The game leaves you with lots of questions and makes you want more! I would love to explore more of it, but unfortunately I couldn't solve the first riddle, because I couldn't read the note. I think that maybe you could change the font or make the text bigger? Very nice game, a lot of atmosphere! I didn't really find anything related to papercraft, but perhaps it's because I didn't progress into the game enough.

Thank you so much for the review! If you feel like taking another crack at it, I did make some modifications to make things a little easier to parse. The code for the first door is this number divided by 13: 56914

Thank you for the hint! I decided to try it again, and... Wow. It's incredible how this game manages to be so unsettling without using any jumpscares. It's rare for me to enjoy a horror game, but this one just hit the right spot. The way the atmosphere changes with each level, and the ghosts start to get less and less transparent - it really makes it feels like you descdend into this horrible situation. It gives you just enough answers for you to somewhat understand what's going on, but also allows you to use your own thinking and imagination to try and figure out what the game is about. My only nitpick is that it seems that the ghosts only appear in a certain location? They usually don't appear unless I step on the tile near the closet. Towards the end of the game, I hid in the closet and then barely got out because ghosts kept spawning nonstop. Which I honestly don't mind, because it added to the atmosphere. Walking in a house with a bunch of ghosts going towards you felt really unnerving. Well done!

I wasn’t expecting the horror vibe blended with the paper-style aesthetic in a 2.5D world—love that! The world-building is really well done. I did get stuck, though, because I couldn’t figure out the code. The paper was extremely hard to read, so I couldn’t make out what it said.
