oooh the sprite tearing in half is a really good idea! Thank you for the nice feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed the game! ^_^

This is a really fun idea! decoding the notes was really satisfying and  you could definitely expand this into a full story

This was a fun shooter, although I think one health is a little harsh ^-^'

This is an interesting concept, I did struggle a little bit with figuring out what exactly I was meant to be doing, i think adding little mini goals would have helped a lot

Nice stealth game! There's definitely potential here for a longer game but what you managed to build in the time is super polished and works well!

I really like this one! I think the art is super fun and the concept made me laugh! I did get stuck on the bit just after the staplers, i figure you're meant to turn into a plane to get across but i never quite got it to work

Thank you :) glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you so much <3

I agree with the comments saying the game needs to be a lot harder, but it runs really well and looks nice also the touch screen compatibility was a super nice touch!
Really well done!

This game is very relaxing, so when i didn't make enough money and ended up starving on the street, that was an unexpectedly dark turn XD
It's a nice idea, id like to see more variation in the figures if you ever update it. I also think the notes could be a good vehicle for a cute story

This game is so pretty! This may be my favourite submission I've played this jam! finding the secrets words was super fun, I managed to find all of them! I was hoping that something would happen if you took the note back to the guy in the house, maybe some additional dialogue or a little story about each word? I really thought something would link back to the idea of memories at the start. If you update this I'd love to re-play!

I really like the combat system! It's very fun and unique, I found the difficulty curve a little intense though, the slimes were a bit too easy and then I got mobbed by 2 enemies at once and barely survived! I had fun though so maybe I just need to get good

The art style is super charming! I like the concept and the combat system, it could use a bit of polish but there's potential here, are you planning on expanding this post-jam at all?

HOLY CRAP THOSE PHANTOMS SCARED THE BEJEEBUS OUT OF ME EVERY FRIGGIN TIME!!
I really enjoyed this one! it's so polished it's impressive this was done in only 3 days!
Really good job!

Love the art style, are the pressed flowers in the opening real or drawn? either way they look great!
I'd love to see more animation for the cats if you continued working on this and some more gameplay sections

This is a really cool idea! I love the different origami transformations in the different areas!

Fun platformer! the ending made me giggle

Name: Arnold
Born: Yes
XD

This made me giggle. I don't know if I'm a proper gamer though because I found the mouse waaaaay too sensitive which made me struggle to navigate, once I got more used to it I had a good time though

This was really cute! I love the concept; there's definitely potential here for a fun puzzle game if you want to keep working on it in the future. I really like the music but it cut out for me after a few minutes, i think maybe it didn't loop. Really nice work though!

(1 edit)

Aw thank you for such nice feedback! We were lucky to have such 2 really talented guys working on music and sound effects for this one. I'd definitely like to expand on this game in the future!  I'm also working on another title using a similar art style at the moment too (a 2.5D narrative game about a cat)

I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you so much! It's all traditionally animated, the sprites are drawn using inks and alcohol markers and the backgrounds are watercolour. I scanned the drawings into my computer then used Krita to create the sprite sheets ^^

I really like the idea and the gameplay! The art is super nice too! I did have a bug when I was playing though where new cards appeared as 'unassigned'. If you plan on updating this post jam I'd love to play a later version down the line

I was not expected to be so emotionally  devastated today
Bravo.

I made a game about cute little mice if you wanna try it.

This was really fun! I found the puzzles enjoyably challenging and the concept was super cute! I did find the arrow keys to unfold a little confusing though!

Yay Team Godot! I like how the paperdoll was animated, I struggled a little with the double jump though!
fun game though! nice work!

Glad you enjoyed it! The mouse in the bush was probably my favourite addition! The idea came from our composer after he'd written the main level theme XD

Really cool concept! Really like how the random room gen works, it's very clean and I love the frog design.
Could definitely do with an onscreen tutorial at the start as I couldn't view the controls from the game page itself and had to go back to the main page to look them up

Very fun once i figured out what i was doing! good job!

This was super fun! I love card games and I had a really good time learning and playing this!

Got to wave 6! love seeing more people using Godot! The paper planes were a cute idea,
really nice game!

This is super fun! I accidentally selected hard mode on my first play and got decimated, found 3 diamonds though! normal mode was a lot more forgiving!

Thank you! If the rest of the team are on board I'd love to make a couple of extra levels for it

Thank you so much! I put a lot of time into the art so I'm really glad you liked it <3

Love the style of the sprites and the environment! This reminds me of playing typing of the dead during IT class at school

ahhhh, I was actually so close! I counted 12 but I didn't wait for green light!! I got it in the end! Thanks for a fun game!

Really fun game! i particularly liked the bonus level!

I really like this idea, I could do with a hint though.... I can't figure out what to do with the 12 cars riddle. plz help

Congrats on completing your first jam! This is a very polished feeling game, I wouldn't have guessed it was a first attempt at using Unity.
Your art is gorgeous btw ^_^

This is really cute! I really like the story concept and the art is lovely! If you had time to expand on the idea in the future, it would be nice if you could select what papercraft to make for each person based on clues about their personalities. I would also recommend adding an accessibility font option as I found the text a little hard to read.

I really like the enemy design and how all the environments look! struggles with the scissors a little but I got the hang of it! Really nice game!
