I really enjoyed this one! Although the solutions didn't take too long to find, I can definitely see this concept being extended into a really great game. Please let me know if you continue this! I'd really love to see where you take this concept. I do, however, have a few ideas. Absolutely no pressure, though.

First: the controls. While the actual button choice was really intuitive, the movement itself felt a tad stiff, in my opinion. I think that this can largely be boiled down to three very minor things. For one, the player can't jump unless they're on solid ground. While this makes sense in the real world, many platformers actually use a timer-based system, so that if the player leaves the ground there's still an extra  fraction of a second where jump inputs are accepted. This makes jumping from one platform to another feel much more fluid, in my opinion. It might be worth experimenting with. I'd also add that perhaps a variable jump height would add to the degree of player control and make everything feel a bit tighter. Furthermore, the amount of time it takes the player to jump up is the same as the amount of time it takes to fall, from what I've seen. While this is absolutely how free fall works in our world, this has really never been true for the classic platformers. In Mario, for example, it actually takes less time for the player to fall than to rise. This definitely adds to the snappiness of the controls, and can really pull things together, if for no other reason than this is what a lot of people are used to.

Next idea: more feedback. As it stands, pushing buttons makes things move, but that's where the player's interaction with the world ends. If you just added some particle effects whenever the player picks up coal and maybe a few sounds for item pickup and movement, I think that this game would be taken up multiple notches. I highly recommend bfxr, by the way. You can get an entire library of custom sounds specifically suited for your game in literally five minutes.

Again, I really enjoyed this! Thank you so much for the game!

Hello! Thankyou so much for your feedback, I believe your ideas are just the right thing for this game to be settled. And also, the recommendation for the sound effects is perfect, we'll definitely be using it. My partner and I are glad you enjoyed it.

I loved your feedback and be sure that if we continue this Idea I´ll make you know. Funnily enought some things that you metioned were actually tried, especialy the diferent hight jumps :D.  Mainly the problem with implementing was that I´m still trying to figure out Ct.js OnO. I just wast too curious to try using Java Script intead of C# OwO which is not that hard but, still is something new for the team.

The recomendation of bfxr looks really usefull! Thanks for playing and again for all the feedback it really helps to improve!

It means alot because I really liked your game :D!

I better understand the usefulness of the "restart button" after being stuck in a blue cube haha
other than that nice video game ^^

Developer

Well thats why it is in there XD

The controls could have been smoother I guess and a bit better presentation.

I had a bit of trouble moving any of the shapes anywhere

Music Loop Bug Fixed :D

Excellent job! I love the concept and you implemented it very well. Once I restarted once the BG music stopped completely, then didn't play on any level. The jump velocity is something to work on if you develop it any further. Awesome job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feed back we were actually checking why the music stoped so I´sorry we werent fast enought to fix it on time T - T.

Fun game and it worked fine for me in the browser. I just made it to 32, though (I like swimming too much xD).

Not sure if it was intended, but you can move blocks while standing on them, or jump and move the blue blocks up. Also, jumping under an obstacle feels a bit weird, because the character kind of floats in the air for a while. But those are small points! All in all a great contribution, good job :)

Thank you soo mutch for playing the game! The standing and moving is inteanded but we are still figuring out ct.js collisions D:

I really like the concept. It is a bit laggy but I suppose that's because I played it in browser.

Developer

Thank you a lot for playing its really apriciated your feedback! And I know the frame rate can be a pain in the ass so thank you for sticking by.

This game is actually very fun. I very much enjoyed the concept as well as the sounds and some of the visuals. The controls of the game were very clear and although there were times I was block glitched a bit due to moving the block the player was currently on, I had a lot of fun. I think if you had more time to brush up the visuals and make the block movement a bit smoother, this game would be something I'd like to play again!

Developer(+1)

I´m very sorry about the gliches I´m still trying to figure out ct.js collisions.  The team is very gratefull of your feedback and will work to fix the block tracking to make it more generous and fix moving collisions.

Thank you for playing :3!

THE BLOCK BUG IS NO MORE ! :D

Controls don't work for me ;(

Developer

I´m sorry to hear that. There is a problem with the frame rate on browser due to fram rate and ctjs that I´m trying to fix.  If you like you could try it out with the Desktop versión is more stable.  Thak you for passing by.

Very nice game, I like the concept and puzzle platformer aspects.  The fireball slowed down its horizontal movement when jumping which made it a bit hard to control.  I also got locked in place when I dragged a block to my current position.

Developer

Thak you for the feed back! :D I will check the browser versión that is having some trubles. :c If you can the Desktop versión is more stable and is available for Linux and Windows. Thank you for playing the game :3!
