i really enjoyed the concept, one issue encountered in the windows build was on completion a console window would pop up. aside from that when designing the level it helps visually for the player to be able to distinguish the background from the foreground, i would throw a darker tint on the walls in the background to help establish this, the gray blocks blended in with each other.
but overall nice art, and music and great concept keep up the good work!
Amazing game… Like really…. And such a cool idea… The fact that you have to be faster than your previous selves puts it as a fast paced game and removes the boring strategy of waiting till you clones pass you…. Really nice…
Couple of Pointers:
The frog was getting stuck in some places… Like in middle of platform joints… And I had to jump around to get past that… Minor collider adjustment will fix it imo…
Game Feel : Some particle effects would have been nice, with some SFX…
I don’t know you intended it or it was a bug, but after restarting all my previous selves were also following me… Like Restart, then play first loop, no previous self is appearing, but as soon as you play second loop, all the previous selves are appearing… So, if you are going by this design, I recommend also making previous selves appear in first level after restart and also don’t rese the number of levels… I felt cheated on (cries in corner)
Apart from these minor tweaks… very nice game… Loved it… Would love if you rate mine too :)
Really cool idea, and a great use of the limitation :)
It would be cool to see the idea expanded on, once you find the best path there isn't a whole lot you can do to avoid hitting your previous loops.
thanks! This Is actually my First ever finished game and coding the clones took a while so the level design sufferred a bit. Maybe After the jam i'll add others level designs but è the the limited time i'm just Happy it works
I wasted a few hours on shaders I ended up scrapping and had to cut a few things for time too, it happens :P

Hey I have downloaded the windows build and it’s stuck here
Do I need to click somewhere or something??? I tried pressing all the controls, space, clicks and all but it’s not progressing

Simple but REALLY clever way to have only 1 level!!! Beating yourself is both raging and joyful.
The music is nice, but not sure it fits your game. And I would advise to have a higher difference of color between the platforms and the background as it is sometimes difficult to see the difference :)

Nice concept and super cute frogs! Personally I'd like to start after the first loop when I die, but I suppose that could be a taste thing!

Spent way longer than I'd like to admit trying to catch a fly before realizing it was the cursor... overall though really cool idea and game! It was really interesting trying to juuuuust beat my time so I would be able to beat my next clone

Hey, this game was really cool!
It was fun trying to optimize your path and beat yourself, Once I was dealing with like 10 copies the difficulty became a terror (in a good way).
Would be great if there were more paths & movement options.. I think you have an awesome idea here.
BTW. No where did it say I had to press enter to continue.. I nearly quit trying because of this.
hey i'm really glad you liked It. Programming the copies took quite a bit so i ended up designing a really simple level.
About the accept button, i forgot to put something there and It probably wasn't so obvious. Do you know of we can release patches for the game?
U can release patches n improvements. Don't know what it's limited to tbh.. I'd say if it's just quality of life improvements it's cool
