The pieces moved around by the player are dice and roll as a real dice would, forcing the player to think about dice in a 3d space

How was your experience with Mini Jam?
Man, this was my second gamejam (first 72hr jam). There are so many things I'd wanna do better, mainly make the game in 3D and more levels. I had to work at my job every night of the jam so definietely didn't spend as much time as I wanted. Still happy with the end product though. Thanks so much guys !

Nice game mechanic! Good job! Keep it up!
Really nice puzzle game. It would be really cool to see this in 3D. Great job!
yes I totally agree. I really wanted to do it in 3D but I've never worked with unity3D so i decided i'd try something im more familiar with. cheers
Very nice mechanic
thank you!
im surprised to hear about the art. I thought it was pretty rubbish lol, thank you though. appreciate the comment
Great concept and use of the limitation!
much appreciated
Took a while to understand everything but it turned out to be a real challenge once I did and I loved it overall.
thank you very much! yes play testing this was sometimes a real pain as completing some of the levels was a lot harder than I'd planned.
Took sometime to understand, really challenge, great job !
yeah the difficulty spikes a little too hard for my liking too. thank you!
Great art and concept! It will really challenge the player with the mechanics, Good job!
i did really want to make the player think about an actual 3D dice while playing, almost practising mental 3D visualization.. thank you!
A pretty fun game. Simple design but well executed. The sound effects are extremely satisfying :D
I spent a good little while hunting for the right sounds, in the future I'd like to have multiple minor variations on the rolling sound to really make it nice. cheers!
This is a fun game. It kinda hard to get the right number. Most of the levels i did purely out of luck
to be truly honest, I found this was the case too. I think I really only started understanding how to properly use the dice (and therefore how to make good levels) towards the end of the jam. when playtesting, half the times I'd finish it was luck too
Simple and very nice game! I like the idea of moving the dice in this way so as to reach the end point with the desired number on the top face. By showing the faces of the die for next moves, you are giving a good convenience for the players, but maybe, removing it might cause some different gameplay altogether, like now the player's will be forced to think about the faces that can come up, which can increase their logical thinking skills as well as 3D visualization skills. This is just my opinion, a potential idea lol. Anyways, good game overall :)
i was thinking about having a tile that when u land on it, it removes the "next move indicators", until you land on another one of the same tile. Didn't get the chance to implement it sadly. I was definitely trying to get the player to use their visualisation skills for this one. thanks for the feedback!
Good idea, I understand the time limit makes it difficult to implement all stuff. But hopefully you may develop this in a more polished version to be released later! Do notify me if you release it in the future :D
Sometimes I couldn't see the edges of the board, but good job.
unfortunately the UI elements posed one of the larger issues with this project. sorry if it was inconvenient, hope you enjoyed the game nonetheless. cheers
