Dude, I freaking love this! Everything is so bouncy and vibrant! That swing tune is really catchy! One of my favorites!

really digging the animation and art, but the game it's self was a bit to straight forward, but it was neat. I love when he bobs his head to the music.

The gameplay is pretty simple, but that's okay! I really dig the art, and especially the animations. The classic "everything bobs up and down" style is pretty timeless and amusing. It comes together with the gameplay and sounds to create a nice task-driven story game. Well done!

The sound, art and animation were off the charts. The music was a bop and all the polish with the animation was a very nice addition also the actual facts about the science was also a  great addition. Very good game good luck.

Thank you for those kinds words, Redstoneworker! So glad you enjoyed your experience :D

This game is just going Back and Forth, but the dialogue, art, animations and music are just so good that it doesn't matter, at least for me.

Developer

Thank you for playing though, Ratainen! Hehe Yes, the mechanics are really basic — Just one of the jam’s constraints, and quite difficult for a first-time game developer;) Thank you for playing, and hopefully there will be more silly fetch quests like this in the future.

I liked that everything was bouncing to the beat. but the gameplay is just walking left and right to pick up stuff.

Developer

So glad you liked that! Game mechanics is difficult for a first time gamedev so this experience had a lot more learning that producing :D - look out for the next fetch quest - cheers!

The art is so cute! It was a little predictable though. Walking back and forth got tedious with so many steps. It would have been cool to have a run option (would require redoing the controls within the 2 button theme though). Also the egg got stuck in my hand and the walk animation stopped after picking it up, haha...

Glad you liked the art! The limitations were too limiting for a first time developer - bugs, mechanics, and and more bugs were all on our list, but ran out of time. Good suggestion on the RUN! Look forward to more fetch quests with less walking :D - cheeeers!
