Just a really nice rotation puzzle (action) game. The rotation feels good and the sprite layout is really solid. Only thing I thought could use some work is some of the sound effects being a little annoying, like picking stuff up, and maybe obstacle/enemies designed into later levels. Still fun getting the hang of getting in close to rotate faster.
I played this when it was submitted, but forgot to come back to rate it haha.
Anyway, I loved playing it. The story is nice, the gameplay is simple, straightforward, and enjoyable. I think with some more work this can be a game people would pay money for.
SARAH BLUSHED! I repeat, SARAH BLUSHED! XD
What an awesome game!
I love the dialogs, the story, the music, the way you used the art-pack, everything.
You even got hints for the levels if the player gets stuck, wow.
Rectangular art tiles, but turning them into a radial level design. That's just so smart. The only thing I'd like to see more is a little variation in the planets. Even just modulating the color of the grass and trees, or maybe using different sprites as "foliage" for the planet. It would have made the galaxy even more alive!
This was a neat little puzzle with a really endearing story line to keep the player engaged between levels. Such a pleasure!
10/10 polish both for the visuals as well as for (game-)design. Good idea putting those hints in there. Also really creative use of art assets and it was quite engaging. I'm convinced this will be in the top 10
Wow, very well done. Probably the best I'v played in this jam so far. I think it cut right off the moment it would have gotten boring. But why can't I use old tunnels without loosing integrity?
Thanks! It's true that it would seem more logical to decrease the planet integrity less when moving through existing tunnels, and I really thought about implementing it, but eventually decided not to, because I thought it would be less fun for the players, as it would require the player to really aim precisely to get the positions correct. But it's very possible that would be a better choice to actually try it out before deciding to not implement it altogether... :P
This game had it all for me - a perfect game! Clever gameplay and puzzles which were well linked into a funny and genuinely touching story! The difficulty curve was spot on, a challenge but not frustrating... Easily one of the best games I've played in this jam! I aspire to your greatness :D
Really well executed, lots of polish and the dialogue was lovely. short and sweet with a nice ramp in difficulty. One of my favourites that i've played so far
